Okay, not a whole tutorial, but at list one post of an explanation. I apologize if there already is one and I haven't found it. I searched and found a explanation on how to change tempos mid song (which I also needed to know) in Meteo's MIDI Assistance thread, but I couldn't find an explanation on how to change time signatures mid song.
I tried changing them in Anvil studio and seeing if GHEx would read it, but the whole song just stayed in 4/4.
I know someone has got to have figured out how to do it. What's the solution? _________________

Use midi maestro... you can change time signatures just like tempo there. In Anvil, you can't change anything mid-song (btw, i think Anvil always show notes as 4/4, even if the midi has a different signature). |

I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the tip. _________________

I use freetar only (even with multiple bpm changes) and it's still fine once I convert to .mid. I keep going till I hit the first bpm change, then I just save my current .sng and start a new one. I can then use a different BPM without shifting all the work I've already done. Then I just merge all the .mid's notes into one PART GUITAR track and I'm good to go. |

That's a good tactic, but that doesn't help me understand how to change Time Signatures. Although, I'm going to give that a try before I use Meteo's solution to BMP changes. _________________
