Yeah, that'd be awesome. I also live in Schaumburg but don't feel like going to somewhere like Springfield for a GH get-together. Anybody gets somewhere close to Schaumburg and I'm there, along with a couple other guys.

This is the guy that hosts all the Chicagoland events on "weird" days.

I used to have a Friday night thing every week, but people stopped showing up and it got cancelled.

I run it on the nights I do because that's when the venues are trying to get people to come out. I get paid to try and boost their business, which is why I'm not getting a lot of calls for weekends (bands, DJs, etc.) and for under-21 places (no bar tab==no money).

As much as I'd love to set up events all over the place and time, I do it as part of my business, so as elitist as this sounds, if they're not willing to pay, I'm not willing to go.

If you know somewhere that IS willing to pay though, let me know. I have a $300 finders fee
