|
|
Just first let me say yes I did look at the tutorial about the DVD Media ID, but it does not say exactly which ones would work well. I have sony DVD+R right now and it did not work. I was woundering if anyone could suggest a good DVD+R to use. Thanks in advance |

Does "+" media even work?
Or is like with -RW's, it works for a lucky few?
I've always used Verbatim DVD-R anyways.. _________________

"+" media works for me. I guess it depends on the burning medium you used. |

Verbatim 16x 4.7GB DVD+Rs worked perfectly for me. I already went through a 25 pack.
I went and got me a 50 pack of the same kind except these are DVD-Rs.
EDIT: I assume different burners/DVDs require different methods of burning.
If 4x doesn't work, try a bit faster or slower. A 4x burned copy on my DVD+Rs caused them to run slow and choppy, so I boosted it up to 8x and it worked flawlessy. Maybe a bit slower than usual in the loading times, but not dramatically slower or even much noticeably. _________________

Also, it depends if it's DVD-R or DVD+R.
For me, a 8x DVD+R works better than a 8x DVD-R. So, experiment. |
