Guitar Hero Explorer Installation

Sorry to start a new thread for this but everytime I hit reply I get sent back to the forum main page.

I cannot install Guitar Hero Explorer. I am running XP and windows reads the MSI file to be opened by Notepad. I have installed .Net and Windows Installer with no change in status.

How the hell am I supposed to install this thing to use???

Could someone please let me know I have my first mid file finished but I can't do anything with it!

The .msi file is a windows installer file, and should run fine if you have the proper applications installed / updated service pack. I suggest trying windows update, or consulting this link http://www.appdeploy.com/faq/browse.asp?category=MSI
