Help?

Ok so I want to make custom songs like everyone else does. I've read some good guides like the (Idiot Proof to MAKING custom songs)http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4747&start=0 The problem is that the versions to create notes are all limited versions (you have to pay and stuff to get full like TibIt, Guitar Pro, etc.). Anyways, I have no clue really what to do b/c I just recently found this out yesterday.

If I could get help on how to get a MIDI, and the rest of the information that would be awesome. I am definetely weak in this area, so please help me lol. Thanks
