i use a program called "Music MasterWorks" by Aspire Software. It was fairly cheap, only $35! Can be found on their website here: http://www.musicmasterworks.com/
I haven't had any trouble with the tempo changes so far. They also have a 30 day trial that allows you to save your work (unlike Midi Maestro) |

my problem seems to be that when i try to install midi maestro i get the following error message...
"Error 1704. An installation for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?"
The thing is i only recently installed Net 2.0 so that i could use Ghex, if i install Midi Maestro and i remove "these changes" will i be able to still use ghex???? |

That sounds like you tried installing .NET 2.0, but something went awry and it didn't complete...hence the installation being "currently suspended". I'd suggest choosing "Yes" when asked if you want to undo the changes; then try reinstalling .NET 2.0. |

I think i will try to reinstall net 2.0...
Just wondering does it matter which version i install?
.NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (64)
.NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (86)
.NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (IA64) |

Unless you have a really good reason not to do so (and you'd know, if you did), you want .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (86).
