I got a 5 year old Girl...
just wondering if the games is fairly simple enough for my wife and daughter to play it
Anyone got a 4-6 year old that enjoys to play it? and can?
Need to know before i spend 60 bux to get it.. and do you get TWO dance pads with it so that they can play together?

it comes with one pad and the game. the game has a beginners mode and an easy mode(called basic or light, depending on the version of DDR you get) thats perfect for young kids. i see 5 year olds playing at the arcades, so your daughter should be able to learn it. and sense my mom can play on heavy(hard) and she is 40 i would assume your wife should be able to catch on and play with your daughter.
i would recomend getting DDR extreme or max2 for them, because even on the easier difficulties extreme 2 and supernova are hard for a newbie to pick up and play. |

Max2. Easiest unlock system for them to enjoy the game more. And the songs are a little better for an American audience.
At least that's my opinion. But 5 years old is perfectly fine for picking up the game ^^ _________________

DDR Max was decent, had a simple unlock system (although drop the bomb system SF mix will take forever to get). The game lacks beginner mode, but still has a lot of very very beginner friendly songs (5.1.1., Remember You, Ordinary World, Baby Baby Gimme Your Love, Gambol) |

i doubt this will apply here as they are just starting to play, but if you know what your doing you can unlock that whole game in a few hours(AA HV for HVAM type unlocks, clear extra stage for max300, clear OMES for candy, clear home base ONI for drop the bomb, etc). either way, DDRMax was a great game, i love it. |

Right, I knew that, but I doubt they are going to pass the 23 stage oni course before they play 500 songs... |

DDR Extreme 2 is probably one of the best mixes for non-DDR fans to get started on. It has lots of pop songs, Beginner mode, a pretty convenient unlock system, and Mission Mode that is both fun and good for learning. |

DDR is easy to pick up. In my case one of my friends got it and i had never played it, but within an hour i was playing on standard. Of course im pretty good at rhythm games in general but ive had friends that got it and were able to play heavy within a week or so of owning it. This was actually the game that got me hooked on the whole rhythm game genre. |

If you're looking for something a 5 year old can get into, you probably want to get Extreme 2 or Supernova. _________________
