I played sonic and knuckles a couple months ago on the sonic mega collection, and managed to remember how to get all 7 emeralds before leaving the first zone. I played the death out of that game back when it was new, and even went through my entire collection of sega games(and my friends' games, sticking them on top to play the associated bonus stages for each.
Needless to say, my nostalgia for the sonic games makes me tingle when i hear a the infamous ring sound. |

Sonic 2. Much of my childhood was built around Sonic games. I remember staying over at my friend's house for days at a time over summer break just playing Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles (and watching Daria. The 90s were good). I even remember bringing my Sega Genesis to a hotel when we were at a family New Year's Eve party and beating Sonic 2 for the first time.
I have owned every Sonic game at one point except for the newest one on 360(which was a HUGE disappointment from what I've played).
I need to get Mega Collection Plus and relive them, I love those games.
Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie are also big nostalgic games for me, I wish the Wii could get them on the Virtual Console. _________________

Yup has to be the sonic games (espically Sonic and knuckles with sonic 3 connected to it, the sheer size of the game and turning into Hyper Sonic, Super tails and Super Kunckles )
Or perhaps Comix zone, brilliant side scroller fighter. _________________

Oh wow! That's completely weird to me. I guess I have learned a lesson today.
I'm glad we had this little talk. |
