How the heck did I not think of Dragonforce?

I was between Metallica and Slayer, but figured that since slayer had a lot less songs, less people would think of them off the top of their head (vs metallica, who has a whole game devoted to them). I understand though since the (I believe) 4 Slayer songs in GH/RB are harder overall than the metallica songs.
And, as I PMed to 9001, Miley Cyrus JUST missed the cut. _________________

Hmm, surprised nobody said Avenged Sevenfold. Miley Cyrus too, I thought she'd be a top answer |

I don't have the PM anywhere in my inbox or anything. It usually ends in the sextbox when it's sent, right? But, it's not there. But I KNOW I sent it. Damn SH not sending my PMs correctly. >.> _________________

That sucks This shouldn't hurt you that much, though, but just be more vigilant in the future |

Dragonforce was an obvious first choice for me, then I went with Dream Theater since I figured anyone who played RB, whether on guitar, bass, or drums, would think of them, but my third choice was tricky. I first thought of Buckethead since Jordan was so huge for its time, but I didn't figure one song was enough for many people to think of it (yes I'm aware of Soothsayer, but GH3 DLC aren't songs that people think of right off the bat). Then I thought Metallica would be obvious since they had so many songs and many of them are pretty difficult on all four songs, but thinking of Metallica obviously made me think of Megadeth. I decided to stick with Metallica since they had an entire game revolved around them and are also more well known outside of GH/RB as well (guess this reasoning wasn't sound enough). I didn't even think of Slayer, which was weird, but 18 points when the top score is 20 isn't bad I suppose.
I'm really liking this forum game, so I hope people really stick with it! _________________

I agree, this game is pretty interesting and fun to follow as a host. And the good thing is that it's easy to stick with since submitting really requires not much time at all. The fun only diminishes when you start arguing over frivolous things such as whether a chocolate muffin is similar to a chocolate chip muffin
I'm glad you guys like it so far and I hope I can think of some good questions |

Me and my brother always loved to watch Family Feud, and this is really close to it. I hope I can keep doing well, but we'll see how it goes.
Oh, and a chocolate muffin is obviously not the same as a chocolate chip muffin. The chocolate muffin is chocolate... "muffiny" substance. The chocolate chip muffin is just a regular muffin with chocolate chips in it. _________________

Suggestion to 9001: send saru some kind of confirmation message/message saying you didn't get his answer so we know the PM system is working right for him. I'd hate to see someone lose just because the PMs are screwing up. _________________

I remember one time, I used to watching nothing but Family Feud for months on months. The answers were always interesting to me, because sometimes even the most obvious answers ended up with little to no points. _________________
