Awwww snap it's the moment we've all been waiting for! Seriously looking forward to you tearing this game up (and passing me in overall FCs in the process!). I know you could get at least 44/47 with enough work. Gogogo! _________________

Well so much hard songs on this game lol, because of calibration I haven't practiced my GH1 comparatively to other GHs, so the start may be rough ! But really, I don't see myself getting BatM, FiU, GR2R, TF or CFH in any way, so my maximum would probably be 42/47, but would suppose I get the Frankenstein mess with trill + random stuff, and the Decontrol solo somehow Oh well I'll try and see how it goes, and use GH3PC as practice mode, so who knows :p

Yeah, feels so great
New FC on GH1 yay ! This game is fun again, I don't mind grinding it atm, even without practice mode :p
GH1 - Spanish Castle Magic FC #38/47
193/211 - 627/660 - 702/735
Surprisingly enough, this song wasn't a pain, and is a lot easier than frickin' Cheat of the Church. Basically, all 4 songs (with All of This and Symphony of Destruction) are all about hitting the hard parts in the same run.
But it turned out I could hit the sweeps everytime, miss the trill everytime, and the ending weird sweeps half the time. So I found a method for the trill, and then started missing the first sweeps instead
The song is so short that retrying is pretty quick though, so it was just a matter of trying again and again, using real runs as practice mode lol. And got that pretty quickly. Definitely easier than CotC, also probably slightly easier than All of This, especially because the song is shorter, and with the right methods it's much easier, AoT not so much.
Now CotC and SoD seem to be on a higher level, but I have to get my GH1 skills on par with other GHs, so with enough tries (and some luck) they will fall eventually. Frankenstein is gonna be a real stop in the breakdown though, wayyyy harder than any of the next 2 _________________

GH1 - Cheat On The Church FC #39/47
194/211 - 628/660 - 703/735
This song was so annoying ! 3 hard parts, solo 2, solo 3 and strumming after solo 3. I got one choke on the strumming really early, but then I needed TONS of grinding.
In the end I think I have 2 runs where my only miss is solo 2, 3 where my only 1 miss is in solo 3 and 3 where it is in the strumming afterwards.
So glad it's finally done. No more grinding this only to get a -1 in one of those 3 places. _________________

Still no SoD, at 194/211 ? That is unacceptable... scores not being updated, either. Needs to be fixed
Oh and congrats ! Grinding a song with a long uneventful intro is always more painful than average. At least the song is cool. Now... well, SoD also has that annoying solo kinda far into the song. Blah, good luck ! |

My GH1 game was so laggy it was unplayable, so I had 191/211 with 36/47 on GH1... But SoD is my next goal !

I'm so bad I miss if I use SP, so when I go for FC I don't use SP, so FCs aren't my highscores (plus my whammybar PS2 is broken so idc about path anyway).

Oh yes, CotC is definitely cool ! I practiced my tick holding on GH1 before solo 2 to avoid being bored with the holds though lol.
Thanks, I'll indeed probably need a lucky run to get the full solo ! At least, SoD is really cool too. _________________

GH1 - Symphony of Destruction #40/47
NICE => 195/211 - 629/660
Nice FC
Really cool song, took a bit a grinding because the whole solo is hard. I trained a bit the song on GH3PC without strums, and then it was just grinding (like 2 hours) until I it all solo parts together. Yay ^_^
So next is Frankenstein if possible, I would have every song under 700 in the breakdown, also for the first time in forever (if you get the reference, you get a cookie) my next song in breakdown wouldn't be GH1 lol !
But damn, the trill is really hard and also the fast stuff after the break is killing me, so hard I don't even know if I could say it's a "choke" if I miss there after getting the trill...
Also GH:80s timing window for fast solos like PWM is damn tight D:
Updated breakdown:

The stuff after the break is the only hard part in Franky, so it definitely wouldn't be a choke
But to comment the actual point of your last post, IMO Symphony of Destruction FC is taking it to the next level in GH1. Well done! _________________

Symphony of Destruction is a crazy FC to me, even now. It was my 200th FC for good reason! :tooth:
Seriously, you've gotten good at GH1 so fast... Frankenstein shouldn't be too hard for you now. My recommendation for the trill is to use hopos... I actually tapped it, believe it or not! The part after the break is tricky, but if it helps it's all the same speed (just with short breaks in between each fill) Good luck! _________________

Lots of people commenting, nice
I feel like the next level is between SoD and Frank tbh
Cause SoD wasn't much harder than CotC for me...
Well to be fair, Cheat on the Church took me more grinding than Symphony of Destruction
Because I was terrible at the ascending trips shit with a little speedup at the end, and afterwards the strumming "This Day We Fight-like" (I terribly suck at TDWF strumming) but where a random note you strum can decide to be hit like a hopo and then you overstrum...
On the other hand, SoD has a constant pace, and I learned the solo by heart, so I'm not saying it's easier than CotC, but CotC is more of a bitch imo (aka you can FC really fast but it can also take ages because it depends on luck)
New on-disc FC aside, I'm also splitting my GH time with:
GH3PC - Getting some DragonForce FC from the DF Discography by GHX => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ezIJsl_riA
I'm starting with easiest obv gonna put some videos soon
GH5 - FGFC bass (52/85 or something)
GHL - trying to find skill (skill is 404 atm) (10/42 FC)
Hope to see you soon on my thread again after I do something cool _________________
