Just wondering if anyone has heard these guys. They do a really good job of blending all of their sounds. Really good lyrics and a great drummer to back up the digital sounds.
If not this is probably their more prominent songs, but they have a really good sound

I should also state I have a large interest in all sorts of music and this isn't the most guitar heavy band - _________________

My friend gave me that song. First heard a clip of it on Current Tv's commercials last summer, then later on in the Droid commercials. Lovely song, I'd check them out but I haven't really bothered to look. _________________

Haha, I think the song works so good in that commercial. Like it makes it sound like it's a better song than it is >.>'
Not a terrible song at all though.. Just never been one of my favorites from them or anything like that. They're a solid group though. One of my first choices when I'm feeling like up uplifting synth pop =D _________________

Passion Pit is getting pretty big in the indie scene. I think Manners was in Pitchfork's Top 50 albums of 09. The Reeling is a great song, as well as Little Secrets. _________________

These are good posts. They are the only ones that don't mention Sleepyhead.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who thinks Sleepyhead is only an average song and is extremely overrated. _________________

I've Got Your Number and Little Secrets are much better than Sleepyhead but still an awesome song by an awesome band. I hope I get to see these guys soon. _________________

I've found them to be a pretty uplifting, catchy band that's just easy to listen to. I saw them at the Big Day Out in Sydney yesterday and I thought they'd be rubbish live (they sound a bit 'produced') but they were quite amazing, definitely one of the better acts I saw. _________________

People post about what they know. Why is that such a bad thing?
The only song of theirs I know is Sleepyhead, and that's pretty much entirely down to this scene from Skins (WARNING: video contains footage of two girls nekkid together in a bed). The snippet of song I heard (right at the start of the clip) sounded good, and a lot of people strongly suggested I listen to the whole thing. I checked out the rest of it - it didn't sound so good. (Like I said, the vocals threw me right off - chipmunking is never a good thing - and as Vankwysha just noted, they can sound a bit overproduced; Sleephead in particular was a bit too chaotic for my liking.) If they've got other stuff where they do the vocals differently and sound a bit more sane, they could be very good (just listened to a couple of minutes of The Reeling, which sounded awesome). Until then, I know Sleepyhead and that's what I'm going to post about. _________________

I really dig the album as a whole but I do listen to Little Secrets and Moth's Wings a lot more than any other song. I just posted Sleepyhead because it's their most "mainstream" song. Anyways on that note I find certain My Morning Jacket songs that give me the same feel as this song. If you haven't checked them out go for it - they are more guitar heavy and blues/funk/"muppet" (lol) influenced. _________________
