It's okay, we don't care either.

Hey guys. I've been primarily playing drums these past 2 months (although I only get to play about once a week). I've gotten some okay FCs such as Bodies and 2112 Part 5. My latest achievement was today when I got -3 on Psychosocial. Here's the video:

I might go for the FC, and I'm attempting to FC Holy Wars and Nemesis as well.

I don't have GH:WoR, so I don't know how hard the songs are on any instrument...But, I am still gonna say Great job, since it's on Expert Drums, and plus, I have heard about the hard songs on GH:WoR, so I know what they are.

All rant thread association aside, good job. Ties that Bind is one of my favourite songs in the game & I know the drum chart isn't easy.

Update: October 18th, 2022

A new update over 10 years later! I know this site is kinda dead, but I finally got access to this account again and wanted to update my accomplishments thread in proper fashion. Since 2012, I've graduated college, worked for a couple years, got married, graduated law school, had my first kid, passed the bar exam, etc. And in that time, I've barely had time to play video games. However, in July 2021 and October 2022 I dug up my old GH3 disc to take care of unfinished business.

First, in July 2021, right after my bar exam, I was randomly playing Suck My Kiss and FCed it completely unexpectedly, cementing my 50th FC in the game. Unfortunately, I don't remember any of the SP paths, so my score was terrible.

Next, just a few days ago, an old high school friend was visiting my house, and we started playing the game. And again, I unexpectedly FCed Kool Thing for the first time. FC #51.

It's interesting that these FCs came so easy when I tried so hard to get them in my younger years and consistently failed. I think being calmer and having no expectations actually helped me concentrate better and finally get these overdue FCs done. Next on my radar, if I find time to play again, is Rock You Like a Hurricane.

Welcome back to your main account.

I'm impressed you kept your skill level high enough after a 10-year hiatus to be able to FC things you hadn't before. Were you still playing infrequently in-between to limit skill atrophy or completely not playing at all? I took a 6-year complete hiatus, and it took me several months to get back into decent shape, but I'm still not even close to where I was at my peak because, like you, I just don't have the time to play at the frequency I used to when I was a teenager.

Thanks man! I'd say between 2013 and 2021, I maybe played Guitar Hero once or twice, but I'm not even sure about that. I don't know how I retained my ability to the extent I did. I certainly lack the physical stamina I used to have when it comes to my hand muscles, but I'm able to read the charts pretty much just as well as I did before. Just like riding a bike!
