So, my favorite band is Paramore (oh shit, pop rock?) and the first song I heard by them was Pressure.
However, it wasn't even the right thing, it was the remix that Paramore made for, yeah, you guessed it, The Sims 2. In Simlish. Yeah, that was the first time I have ever heard Paramore. _________________

Metallica - Enter Sandman
I was aware that Metallica was a metal band, but always assumed that I wouldn't like metal music. That all changed when I saw Metallica perform Enter Sandman on TV during the Grammy Awards in the early 1990s.

Foo Fighters - Big Me
I knew the name Foo Fighters, but was unfamiliar with any of their music until I saw this music video on MTV and immediately liked the band.

Spin Doctors - Two Princes
I first heard this song covered by a band at my high school's talent show (around 1994). I didn't find out who it was by for another year when I randomly heard it on the radio.
Weird Al Yankovic - Eat It
I first discovered Weird Al (as well as the concept of parodies) when I heard what I thought was Michael Jackson's Beat It on a TV in the next room (sometime in the early 80s). I went to check it out, and have been a Weird Al fan ever since. _________________
