You did an amazing job on Dyer's Eve expert bass. Me = jealous much?! If I haven't already congratulated you mackey, then well done!!
I have a big gap at the mo because "ketiun" hasn't got a score on every song, but I will enjoy it while I can!
UltraHeroABC5 wrote: | lol greenbay. True. Yeah, and insane. It's amazing that he has the gap, AND he still needs to re-fc some songs for better scores. like wow. |
Yep, still plenty of points to get in good time. Expert will be too hard for me though.
bushidox wrote: | Congratulations good sir. Meeting or exceeding one's own expectations is always a great feeling. A FGFC of GHL is pretty impressive, regardless of difficulty, as you literally had to retrain your brain and muscles how to play. Great work, what's next for you? Keep up the good work and stay encouraged.
Hmmm Hard = 719/777
and only 500k from Jleggy12? Impressive. |
Thank you, bushidox. Learning how to play this game was hard and took me some time, but I feel like I'm not too bad now. I like the sound of only being 500k from Jleggy12, so might eventually try and gain some points over the other games to catch him slowly if I can. That said, I still have expert bass to play as well...

Thanks, man. Still wish I had your dedication to song playing though!!
On another note... I'm now at level 20 on GHTV finally, and also played a few challenges in Rival Arena. Should really have the option of only playing people on the same difficulty though otherwise it makes for an easy win. Example = I got 99% and over 400k on a song but the challenger was on expert and got 98% but 681k. Unfair much? Never mind...
I now have over 1,184,000 points on Cry of Achilles advanced, though. Need to become a little more consistent at that song if I want the FC. _________________

Played a little tonight and improved two more scores on advanced:
Lies (ScoreHero global first place)
Mind Your Manners (ScoreHero global first place)
Then I thought I'd give expert a go...
R U Mine? - 95%
Lies - 97%
My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up) - 97%
Love Bites (So Do I) - 84%
Bit of a mixed bag really... but could probably FC the middle two in time. I'll be honest, even 10 FC's on expert GHL would be amazing for me!! _________________

Thought I'd play a few more songs on advanced that I needed to improve:
When You Were Young (ScoreHero global second place)
Berzerk (ScoreHero global first place)
Little Monster (ScoreHero global first place)
I'm now 69,770 ahead of second place overall on the game. _________________

That's a pretty solid lead O.O |
Yep, thanks, gonna leave it there though!
Went back to GH2 for now and got second place overall on Stop hard guitar. Pretty good score, I think, considering it's an old school game:

That Stop! score is very impressive. I tried to squeeze a couple songs on GH2 last week and it did not go well. I can't whammy that game at all. Nice job, man. |

Yeah, early whammy is a pain in the backside. It took me quite a while to get that score. I tried for even longer to get a good score on Surrender and could only muster up overall 16th place, lol.
I'm struggling to get a new FC on this game though (not played in over a week, mind). I've currently got a few songs that I feel are in my ability but need more consistency at:
Killing in the Name (-3 notes)
The Trooper (-3 notes)
Psychobilly Freakout (-1 note)
Beast and the Harlot (-1 note)
Hangar 18 (-1 note on PS2 ages ago)
Free Bird (-5 notes)
Drink Up
The Light That Blinds (overstrum)
That would put me on an amazing 70/74! O__o _________________

Beast and the Harlot, TLTB and Psychobilly should fall pretty easily to you, I think. You have the strumming chops for it. _________________

If I had any sort of strumming ability then I would get Misirlou as well but that's a no. >__> _________________

Misirlou is an entirely different strumming beast that those songs. FCing those is a big step, but it's not enough to get to Misirlou. TLTB is close, but not quite.
I'm gonna be super happy when you do finally FC Misirlou, though.
EDIT: Also, BatH and TLTB are literally the exact same thing, only BatH is slower. If you can get TLTB you can absolutely get BatH. _________________

My guitar has broken randomly and so I can't strum up and down anymore, only down. This means on games pre-GHL I am very limited to what songs I can play on hard/expert. However; it gives me the opportunity to go through easy guitar and also easy/medium bass.
I may also consider going to GHL because that guitar still works perfectly fine. _________________

I've recently had to fix my guitar because of strumming issues and it had nothing to do with electronics. Instead, the strum bar casing had little dents where the clicker was constantly hitting it causing the clicker to sometimes not register. Fortunately I had a spare guitar so I was able to swap the parts out. Took a while as I had to unscrew everything first but it was worth it. Maybe that's the same issue for you, but if you haven't a spare then maybe building the casing back up with some thick tape might work instead.. If not then I'll keep an eye on your E/M Bass scores in case you beat me on any!! _________________

Today I picked up a new PS2, together with GH1 and GH:80s and memory cards. Tomorrow I will pick up GH2 with a guitar. Hopefully the guitar will work okay and I can then input some new scores on GH1 and GH:80s (gonna play the latter first as it has ho/pos and hyperspeed)!
Also gonna pick up some blu-tac so I can play GH1's "hyperspeed". Not about to get the sort of scores that suhdude has been getting recently though! _________________
