I figured I'd start up a thread about my Expert Bass FSFC progress. This is a nice way to keep track of everything.
So first off, i'm a late bloomer. I didn't start playing Guitar Hero till around the beginning of 2012 and I started with Warriors of Rock. I then got World Tour, Van Halen and I just got Metallica today. I still need Smash Hits and Guitar Hero 5.
So here is where I am with FSFC as of today. (These are all the games needed for Bass FSFC i'm pretty sure). (I will import all scores to scorehero. So if you want to know what I need left, you can check there).
I will have two lists, so I can see my progress since starting this thread:
This is the list I am starting with. October 29, 2013
GHWT: 1/86
GH5: 0/85
GHM: 7/49
GHSH: 0/48
GHVH: 33/44

This list will be updated for every FC. Updated: May 20, 2022

Now that I have that out of the way, I'm going to list and link my favorite and best FC's from each game. (I will update these as they come). *NO SPECIFIC ORDER*

GH: 5
1. Demon(s) - https://youtu.be/FSm6atzOkUQ - Not difficult but overall pretty solid song.
GH: Metallica
1. Dyer's Eve - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLmR1vdUy6A - Move it on over This Day We Fight. This is now my best FC, and it probably will be as I cannot see another song in the series being as difficult. This song is just amazing. I always knew i'd FC this if I kept trying. I'm so glad it's over.  - UPDATE. FC'd multiple times now.
2. War Ensemble - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He5M5VHU-N4 - This was fun. I got this FC really quick. I got this about 10 runs after sightread. I have pretty damn good stamina (I FC'd Twilight Of The Thunder God 6 times in a row, on video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvqXNXir7kU)
3. Orion - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXY6rUhqYPU - This song is just amazing. The bass in it is so beautiful. The bass solo is wicked!
4. Master Of Puppets - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1d0Yakp5fQ - My favorite song in the game. Sounds so good. It's also really fun to play and not very difficult.
5. Disposable Heroes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PjT3LjOVJc - Another fun one. This is also the song with the longest note streak for bass in all of the Guitar Hero games. Probably the highest note streak I will ever achieve. 2918 Notes altogether.
GH: Smash Hits
1. The Trooper - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8RYg-fjT1o - This is just a fun song in general. I enjoy the gallops and how fast paced it is. It's also a good song to listen to.
2. Stop! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5kLfT-lfiU - I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I knew there would be some fun songs, and this one definitely is.
3. Laid To Rest - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-Ep46JsURk - It's official, this is my favorite chart I've played in the GH series(I haven't played GH5, but I doubt anything will beat this). Extremely fun.
4. Raining Blood - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC7rLhbexJo - This is pretty fun to play especially the last 2 minutes of the song.
5. YYZ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbpfjJT4Cl8 - This song is strange, in a good way. It's pretty fun to play. It's also fast paced, just how I like em'!
6. Freya - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5exuNQbVdk - Bad ass song.
7. Caught In A Mosh - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWzeZ0XAnHU - One of the trickier ones in GH:SH. Lots of opens which make it a little confusing. Once you know what to expect, it's pretty simple. Still fun.
8. Cowboys From Hell (Live) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwT4aTgvMkg - Another bad ass song. Fun to play and it also has a tricky ending.
GH: Van Halen
1. Pain Killer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOKTallXvZs - This is a pretty fun song to play. I like the fast strumming and HOPO's!
2. Mean Street - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUiMpX8htp0 - Possibly my favorite song in the game. I like how it sounds and it's also very fun to play.
3. I'm The One - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c6xmfu6jxs - This is the first video I posted once I got this game. It's a fun song to play with a cool outro. 
4. Hang 'Em High - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOkWPx6nbhI&ab_channel=ItsGeofff - I started playing GH:VH in 2013. Picking the game back up in 2022, this was one of the last ones I needed to FC. I'm not entirely sure, but it was easy now. I'm putting this on here because at one point it was challenging for me.
5. Loss of Control - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR7J4aef5aE&ab_channel=ItsGeofff - I kept choking on the patterns. Overall fun song and a tad bit of a challenge with the patterns.
6. Hot For Teacher - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBwOIHwMkJw&t=5s&ab_channel=ItsGeofff - The outro kicked my ass! I am terrible at off beat/music not matching note strumming. I need to hear it to do it. This was the last one to get for a FGFC.
GH: Warriors Of Rock
1. This Day We Fight - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1IGgG1V5Nw - This (WAS, DYER'S EVE TOOK IT'S SPOT)is probably my best FC to date. I remember saying I would never FC it, and I have now FC'd it 3 times. I'm pretty proud of this one.
2. Chemical Warfare - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWAknrM39DM - I never thought I'd FC the outro to this song. (I'm the worst with off beat strumming). Not only that but the verses are awkward also. I've FC'd this 2 times now.
3. Holy Wars, The Punishment Due - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htIFHKMN_SQ - This is my most consistent song on WoR. I usually FC it every time. If I do miss, it's during the intro HOPO's. I'm not even kidding when I say I have FC'd this song over 30 times. I am 6th place on Xbox Live. (I want top 5 at least!) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUcQANO_p_4. (I've also FC'd this Mirror Mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL0TcjnQn68)
4. Fury Of The Storm - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw4Rui8fCqI - So this song isn't necessarily too difficult but it's long! The part I kept choking on was after the solo which is like 6 minutes into the song.
5. Grand Finale - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwVdDxsjh_E - Alright, before you laugh, this song gave me a ton of trouble! As I said earlier, I'm horrible at off beat strumming. Well, have you seen the outro of this song? Ugh this took me forever to FC. I consider this a good FC for me.
6. If You Want Peace, Prepare For War - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxkF3QwyE3k - This song is really fun to play. Especially the intro. Overall not too bad of a song. I've done a co-op Guitar + Bass FC of this song also with a friend. (You can find it on my YouTube).
7. Nemesis - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he1bDOWr9rY - This song is really fun. I'm a big fan of fast strumming, and this song has it. Overall a really fun song to play on bass.
8. Move It on Over (Live) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpUlPjkKdb8 - An extremely fun song to play. Never a dull moment as the entire song is double and triple strums.
9. Indians - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKEKvzJSlos - A pretty good FC if I'd say so. If you're not used to open strums, this one would get ya.
10. Deadfall - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50oFhz_9-gA - My 2nd best FC on WoR. This chart is just wack. I wanted this to be the last song I FC. But speeding is just annoying me!
11. Speeding - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtojH-BsFd8 - Finally. The last song I FC'd for FGFC. This song gave me so much trouble. I don't even understand how I kept missing at the same spot. Oh well, it's finally over.

It wasn't that bad. It was fun yes. I got GH:M today and I got the FC about 10 runs after sightread. I have some pretty good stamina

People need to respect Bass a bit more, it may not have the big shredding solos, but I actually believe it is more difficult than guitar in its hardest parts..at least for me haha. I'm sure i'll have more to say once I start doing a bit myself..anyways i'm rambling. You're pretty damn good, hope you keep up this blistering pace

When I did it, it was probably around 3 years ago lol. My stamina has been built up quite a bit since then =p

When I did it, it was probably around 3 years ago lol. My stamina has been built up quite a bit since then =p |
lol yeah. Regardless of high stamina or not, it's def a good FC.

I don't play Bass a ton, but the open notes still throw me for a loop. My brain just goes dead when they come up sometimes.
Anyway, on the subject of the thread, nice work, sir. I just watched your Holy Wars video, and although it was a nice FC, I'm more impressed with your video setup. I'm definitely jealous that I don't have a capture card and a high quality camera pointed at me. Good luck!

Amazingly great start to a thread. With arguably the hardest Bass FCs already out of the way, you should really have no issue with the FSFC. Make sure that you continue to put in all your scores, and you can see how high up my bass leaderboard you can go!

Great scores! I've had the privilege of playing online a few times and witnessing his abilities - INTIMIDATING to say the least! I catch myself watching his highway and not paying attention to mine lol! And of course its those really tough songs so Im already struggling and failing.
Glad you're getting compliments and noticed for your skills.
