My god man, if this works right you may have just taken custom songs to a whole new level. Congratulations. _________________

This looks incredible. Thank you so much for this...I'm currently working on a good build, and this will just make it that much better. Will test it when I've fixed up my PS2, but for now I'll work it into a few DVD's to test later.
Thanks! This is a fabulous development. |

This application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. |

First I got an error message "The application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect". After some searching I 'solved' it by creating a "GH2ne.exe.manifest" file next to it containing:
Code: | <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<assembly manifestVersion="1.0" xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<assemblyIdentity version="0.0.0.0" name="GH2ne.exe" type="win32"></assemblyIdentity>
</assembly> |
...then I got an error saying msvcr80d.dll couldn't be found; you might want to upload a release build instead of a debug build.
Installing Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition didn't help much either. Too bad, can't wait to see if it actually works! _________________

I'll take a look at the failing to start problems. And will edit the post when I fix it.

If it works, j00 rox.
I never bothered to take the time to compare the tripolette codes hex changes in gh1, to see if same could be done for 2. |

I took the time. Came up with nothing. The code for tripolette was a simple 00=a, 01=b, 02=c thing. Definitely not how the .dtb file stores them. _________________

For some reason, the song list isn't coming up after I load the "Song" file(s).
I exported the "Song" directory directly from GHex (Just added GH2 again to it).
After pressing load -> songs (directory) (says songs.dtb cannot be found) -> Any song (results in nothing in folders of the .dtb name).
Congrats on finding out how to do this btw! Great job!
EDIT: Nevermind, I found out what the problem was. I extracted the Song database, and not the song.dtb. _________________

I'm gonna wait for a more stable release of this thing, or integration with GHEX or something. I changed one song title, and now it says Invalid PS2 disc. _________________
