So at some point I got GH1, can't remember exactly when, since it's been about 6 months, but I totally loved it, despite the wacky engine. It's just cool to have all the main games and to finally get to play the first game, rather symbolically as my last GH.
16/09/20:
Whee, finally got the PS2 games after about a dozen years of playing this series (also got RB1, but that's another story). Just did my first run-through of 80s, and came out with 5 sightread FCs to my name: We Got the Beat, Heat of the Moment (sort of), Only a Lad, Lonely is the Night and Bathroom Wall; the last being the best of the bunch, imo.
Will go through GH1 when it arrives.
Mostly just goofing around with the bass side of the games.
Bass FCs:
GHWT: 57/84
GHM: 18/49
GHSH: 12/48
GH5: 56/85
GHVH: ?
BH: ?
GHWoR: 16/92

Thanks! I have enjoyed myself with it so far. I was pretty skeptical when this was first announced, but I have been pleasantly surprised so far.

Thanks, guys. I'm now going through the setlist on expert (about halfway through at the time of this post). I've 5* most songs, and I've also managed to get 2 sightread FCs: Here's To Never Growing Up and Lies. About to start going through the Soundial sets.
EDIT: Finished playing all the songs. No more FCs, all but 5 songs 5*. I'm also on 1st on the Wii U boards.
EDIT2: FC'd Light Em Up. Tried going for a better score after, but for some reason the last activation doesn't want to work properly, so I said screw it. As a side note, I also FC'd Demon Dance in GHTV. Very easy song, though.

Alright, getting good progress done in expert now. Currently sitting at 17/42 FCs, but I feel stuck now. I seem to have gotten most/all of the easiest songs out of the way. I'll probably be able to get Paint It Black, Ho Hey and Mountain Sound out of the way next.

Didn't even notice that I was 1st overall now. I was just focused on passing Undead. That's pretty sweet to be overall 1st on both Hard and Expert for GHL.
I think the FGFC is possible. Most of the songs I haven't gotten, I have 99% on, I've FC'd the hard parts in most of them, but I just have really, really stupid misses in a lot of them. But I can see myself getting the FGFC from here.
Forgot to do some updating. 2 more FCs today - Club Foot and Wastelands.
EDIT: Make that 6 for today. Won't Get Fooled Again is #25. I say I have no idea what's a good path for it, yet I still get global 1st on it 
Bangarang is #26, Paint It Black is #27, California King Bed is #28, despite having troubles with notes not registering for no reason.
