Oh wow it's been over 4 years since anyone's posted in this thread lmao.
Anyways, I failed a ton around 84% or so, and only yesterday got a run to 91%. However, just about an hour ago, I finally beat the song, hands (and legs) absolutely shaking. 
(Apologies this image is enormous)
At least I didn't cry, but I definitely was happy.
I'm not sure how many tries exactly I had, but probably somewhere in the one-thousand range.
Now back to just improving scores so I can submit them here. Jeez. Oo/
Oop, sorry, ended up making a whole topic instead of just replying to the thread. Still fairly new here.

Very impressive! It's still a relatively small handful of people who can say they've passed Through the Fire and Flames (yes, that was intentional  ).
Good luck with the rest of the songs, though from the sound of it that was the last GH3 song you had left to pass.

Actually, I still need to clear basically all of the bonus songs (though normally I only submit scores on attempts on songs afterwards).

Pretty sure I can only pass this song by pressing the green button against a table for the intro, that's how I did it on my current score anyway!
So good job on passing it, I'm sure you can make leaps and bounds to get five stars on most of the hard songs (IMO - Raining Blood is second hardest to get five stars).
