After the x360 version of GH2 came out, I posted pics of my custom orange Xplorer paint job (thread). I liked the way it came out so much I did an SG this week in time for the LA tourney. I also did a blue SG a while back -- here's both of them:

hey, i painted my xplorer and within like 2 weeks i got the paint on the buttons all mushed off and it looks horrible
i'm gonna sand them down and do them over, but i want to know how you did your buttons so that i don't have to worry about ruining them again |

I'm such a stickler about the feel of the buttons that I wouldn't (and didn't) paint them. They're actually normal buttons cobbled from the corpses of other broken guitars. _________________

good lookin paint jobs. great idea getting same colored buttons from other broken guitars. i may have to do the same thing.
EDIT: you wanna trade me 3 green buttons for 3 of another color? _________________

Now this is just me talking, but if I could I would take that orange sticker right off. I don't think it works well at all. It would look much better without it. That's just me though. _________________
