I just had a look at the song list so far, and it seems like nearly all of the main (I'm assuming 40) songs have been revealed:
3's and 7's – Queens of the Stone Age
Barracuda – Heart
Black Magic Woman – Santana
Cherub Rock – Smashing Pumpkins
Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll – Blue Öyster Cult
Cult of Personality – Living Colour
Even Flow – Pearl Jam
Hit Me with Your Best Shot – Pat Benatar
Knights of Cydonia – Muse
La Grange – ZZ Top
Lay Down – Priestess
Miss Murder – AFI
Mississippi Queen – Mountain
My Name Is Jonas – Weezer
One – Metallica
Paint It, Black – The Rolling Stones
Paranoid – Black Sabbath
Raining Blood – Slayer
Reptilia – The Strokes
Rock and Roll All Nite – Kiss
Rock You Like a Hurricane – Scorpions
Sabotage – Beastie Boys
School's Out – Alice Cooper
She Bangs the Drums – The Stone Roses
She Builds Quick Machines – Velvet Revolver
Slow Ride – Foghat
Suck My Kiss – Red Hot Chili Peppers
Sunshine of Your Love - Cream
Talk Dirty to Me - Poison
The Metal – Tenacious D
The Number of the Beast – Iron Maiden
Welcome to the Jungle – Guns N' Roses
When You Were Young – The Killers
That only leaves 7 more songs. Of course, some of the revealed songs may be co-op career songs and thus don't count to the 40 song total (can someone confirm this, BTW? I could have sworn that it was that many for the main setlist). Then there's the fact that only about 13 of the (again, guessing here) 30-35 bonus tracks have been revealed, so there would still be a total of at least 24 songs left.
Also, in the Wikipedia article, it sources "Holden, Tom (October 2007). "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock: Rock Your Way to the Top". Independent PlayStation Magazine" for the Velvet Revolver song. Can anyone confirm this source? |

Sabotage is supposed to be co-op, but no one knows yet how many other songs will be unlocked through co-op nor which songs they'll be.. so it's pretty hard to tell how many main setlist songs are left. At least half a dozen, but it could be a dozen or more if some of the songs we have assumed are main setlist actually end up being bonus or co-op. _________________

So yeah, where are the sources of Tom Morello being in this game? From what I've read they were all rumors. |

Go to the "9 Minute Video Preview of Evenflow" or whatever thread, and watch the video. Around the 5:36 mark, the guy talking mentions Tom Morello, then his tone and everything after that make it obvious he shouldn't have mentioned it. Maybe this guy is just trying to start some controversy by naming off a random guitarist, but I don't know for sure. |

"And of course you guys all know Tom Morello will be in the game, and-- oh shit, wait, you didn't know that? Oh shit. Shit, shit, shit. Are we streaming this live? Aw.... shit! I'm fired, aren't I?" _________________

As much as I hated to add this song because it isn't completely official.
I added Sunshine of Your Love to the info. |

Well, the name is Tom Holoien, and it is on page 26 of the October '07 issue. There is a list of about 16 announced songs, one of which is "She Builds Quick Machines." |
