Wow, just now starting to hate it, huh? I started hating it 2 days ago, and it only gets more and more annoying.
Anyway, I'm done with playing TTL for 2008 (except for certain future tournament situations, obviously). We'll see what happens... _________________

Well I managed to get back on. I played Raining Blood for about an hour and a half, i'm soooo close to the 5* now it's unbelievable (225k)
Then I did Black Magic Woman just once.
I got the SP perfect, and apart from an overstrum at the start of it, FCed the first orange streak and nearly got the second one too.
Final result, -1! But with several overstrums in the oranges.
Pushed my score up 8k or so. We'll see. _________________

I guess it's over.
I hate Take This Life. Not because it's hard to FC, but because I apparently suck at holding on to ticks and whammying. Argh.
I only managed 2 FCs, the first beating my old high by a whopping 12 points (559766). I was sure that was gonna be my high due to major sucking at whammying, but I managed to improve somewhat up to 563410.
Now, I'm personally happy with that score - it's better than I thought I could get, but it's not what I think I needed to beat Munkyzero. I would have loved to have seen Bj0rn in the finals against Munky, judging by the monster scores he consistently put up... but I guess that's the way bracket tourneys work out sometimes.
Oh well, this was my first time participating in more than 1 week of a league, and it was frustrating, fun, challenging, and rewarding. I've also managed to make a few new friends out of it, so all the better! Thanks everyone, especially the commissioners, for the great time. _________________

My first run of TTL yielded 510988, a -22 run. After that, I tried a few times to beat that, but I messed up a lot, and eventually was too lazy to actually work for a better score (I found it more fun to try to FC CoD). |

Only managed 240,541 >_<
Just hoping that ZMaine is also not brilliant at that song.
Either way the league has been great fun and forced me to improve my scores on a bunch of songs. _________________

soooooo curious for results since I managed to learn to play TTL and put up a not-completely-sucky score.
Coulda FC'd with time and have a feeling it may have been necessary given the strength of my opponent, but I only managed to figure out the magic of playing the verses on the last day. |

Good job Draktyr, I was close to beating you, but I didn't have enough time to get the score I wanted.

Oh...I wasn't sure 510k would be enough...but I guess it was...
It's the kind of song you either can play, or can't, I guess...
Anyways, now it prompts me to enter a score for Number of the Beast, season 9. I don't understand: is the format for this next league season going to be one song every 3-4 days as well? Am I automatically going to be in AAA-6? |
