...Lets not do this again guys. If you're going to do anything that resembles complaining go to the other thread. _________________

If NS can pull this off, HOLY CRAP INSTA-BUY. This is shaping up to be one helluva game if all of this is true. |

No release date has been announced. I think this might be worthy of adding, if only to avoid "lol Neversoft can't do this by Fall '08". It's already been posted in that other massive thread.
I think Neversoft would take the time and effort to make a good game. I'll be saving my money for this, then I'll decide if it's worth the buy. |

An open note. Which, basically on real guitar is when you strum a string without holding down a fret. _________________

I'm sure as hell not going to buy Rock Band now. Hopefully they won't screw up the pricing for EU with this either. I'm very excited about this to be honest. _________________

You guys that are all saying Neversoft stepped it up and they won you over and etc...
I'm sure they did, but you're all entering with the same optimism as before that I saw with Gh3. If you get your hopes up the same way, and you expect the best game ever, then you'll only be let down... AGAIN.
I won't deny that it looks fun, and I'm hoping for a game like Rock Band but with a Guitar hero 3 engine. I don't want them to take the focus out of guitar though, I liked this game for the guitar tracks, and I don't necessarily want another rock band where just about all of the guitar tracks are insanely easy.
They also better sell the game seperately from the instruments, because I don't necessarily want a drum set for my GUITAR hero.
Fixing it for the PS3 would be nice too... then I don't have to stay a PS2 player. |

Maybe they should have a new difficulty like insane on phase and have open notes on that. Then these whiners won't cry and the pros can play with open notes if they want. No one would be disappointed.
edit: I think the achievements should be rockband style. Then you wouldn't have to 5 star every song on every difficulty to get all of them. If there were 5 difficulties, it would take forever to five star every song every difficulty and then on each instrument. This game could have like 4000 gamerscore points. _________________

Oh man this is gonna cost a fortune
Wait if there are clear notes and thus a 6th note, no other previous guitars would be compatible amirite? This is gonna be the best thing ever or the worst thing ever. _________________
