I was about to comment on that. ^
I'm kind of surprised by the amount of people that still love/play GH3. It's a great game but it just keeps getting destroyed... I want someone to get 990k on TTFAF soon.

The fifth squeeze doesn't seem even close to possible to me... Most of the time you have to squeeze in even the second to last chord (you can like barely get it in without squeezing with a good enough front. Optimal would probably be like ,890 or so, I know for a fact ,878 is possible and there are probably some more hard ticks.

oh btw, the trick to the MQ score has to be the 29th note (Y hold) and the 30th note (Y note)... maybe you could experiment with it, and see if there's glitched ticks out of there?

Quick reply but I don't think so since you will lose SP if you try to glitch ticks there.

That's exactly what I was thinking.. but there doesn't seem to be any other way, and I'm pretty damn sure Bj0rn's keeping this one well-hidden. Maybe an early whammy to get as much as possible, then a tick glitch? ¯\(°_o)/¯
EDIT: He says he can't do a good first act anymore, so maybe that's a hint on it? Maybe I'm just overthinking...

Seems to me that for MQ, your best bet would be to try the late whammy thing on the whole song. I guess Bj0rn might have accidentally glitched a tick (or 3, lol) out of the 29th note by doing this (...?)

There are glitched ticks in MQ, and you can still get the max ticks from the first act with them (although it's a bit harder I think). I gave it a few tries yesterday and it seems there are at least 11 glitched points and I've hit the max ticks with them, getting ,x12 after the first squeeze (as opposed to ,x01 max ticks without the glitched ticks).
But MQ isn't the next thing I'll do (duh). Haven't felt like playing today and I have stuff to do tomorrow, but I won't just let WTTJ go of course.
