Agreed! not even close to the difficulty of those two. Once the weekend comes I'll drum it up to see how bad it is and possibly post a screenshot of what I get. |

I haven't got Van Halen, but I checked out the video and the note path doesn't seem too difficult.
Once you've bolstered your endurance on the double-bass pedal to manage 5 minutes on near-constant stomping, there's nothing too tricky to handle, besides the occasional shift to what looked like 4/3 time and the tempo changes in some sections.
You want to see 'difficult' - check this one out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fKl6f8F0bM
It doesn't much help that the song is about as enjoyable as a root canal. |

I haven't tried it yet but Hot For Teacher Expert+ looks waaaaay worse than Painkiller for difficulty/passing/etc.
It's not just straight 8th notes - what do you call it, exactly? Is there a term for it? _________________

They're swing 8th notes, i.e. take an 8th note triplet and ignore the second note. _________________

Semi-sightread, already played it in RB2, saw it on youtube, and heard it a bunch
I actually was able to play my drums today But I agree Hot for Teacher is at least 8x harder than painkiller in my opinion.
EDIT: Passed hot for teacher, 3 times, 4 and a half * lol.

one foot, one pedal. almost 4*
and yea, HfT is WAY harder with one foot...prob a lot easier with 2 pedals but still, trompin left-right like that over and over again would be nasty... |

Was about to post this but you ninja'ed me. Still quite a ways off from FC though, not to mention Legs' 360 is messed up now. He is definitely sick on the double bass though.
The ending drum solo is what will hold up an FC on this. |

The ending drum solo is what will hold up an FC on this. | The oddball timing on the snare roll before the solo was holding back a lot of potential FCs in RB2, and GHVH has the bass charted as well. That and the Monster Drum Fill. And drum solo. And the 16th bass bursts in the bridge. _________________

I'm sure he could FC this if he practices that part, he only missed once during the insane fill right before the outro, so it shouldn't be *too* hard for him. Too bad his 360 broke . _________________

He missed a lot more than just that, during bass speedups. |

I meant to say the outro isn't really THAT hard for experienced double bass players and will not hold up the FC completely on its own. Indeed, LLP missed quite a few bass speedups, but he did hit them other times, and he hit the crazy double bass + snare roll part as well. If he gets more consistent at the bass speedups *and* practices the outro some more he could FC this. _________________
