The game tells you whether you got a 3, 4, or 5-star on the song. |

and to be specific, it deals with what your average multiplier was for a song.
<2.0 is a Three Star
2.0-2.79 is a Four Star
2.8+ is a Five star _________________

It is, but that's directly tied to your multiplier. To achieve a 2.8 avg multiplier is to also have a certain score. Which are the X-star cutoffs.
Here's the page that will explain it better. _________________

My question is kind of related to this.
When I enter scores on ScoreHero, I sometimes have to put how many stars I've gotten, yet other times it'll do it for me and give me 6 or 7 stars.
So, songs like That Was Just Your Life asked me to enter my stars and now show just 5 stars, whereas My Name Is Jonus didn't ask me and shows 7 stars.
Any reason why this happens?
Thanks. _________________

Anything above 5-stars is a number people on the community figure out manually. If no one's submitted a cut-off, than no one gets above 5-stars. _________________

The WT star ratings don't go up more than 5 but I think a x5 multiplier is 8 stars and I'm not sure about 6 and 7. _________________

That is only because there is not a cut-off page for WT yet. In due time. _________________

4 stars = 2.0 multiplier
5 stars = 2.8 multiplier
6 stars = 3.6 multiplier
7 stars = 4.4 multiplier
8 stars = 5.2 multiplier
9 stars = 6.0 multiplier
The reason multiplier works as a constant score is that what it's checking for the multiplication is the base 100% score. Basically, if you got every tick and every note in the entire song without using SP or going above 1x multiplier, you would have 1x average exactly. Base score is the score you'd get from doing that. The multiplier simply checks how many points you have relative to that amount. _________________

4 stars = 2.0 multiplier
5 stars = 2.8 multiplier
6 stars = 3.6 multiplier
7 stars = 4.4 multiplier
8 stars = 5.2 multiplier
9 stars = 6.0 multiplier
@xKENSEIx: Songs on previous games (aerosmith and older) have pre-calculated star cutoffs going all the way to 9 stars on every song. As far as I know, WT hasn't been calculated fully yet. |
Have you seen some of the Average X's for Vocals... We are going to be dealing with 20 Star Scores if they ever implement extended ratings for world tour... _________________
