Here's my video of Lycanthrope.
I really really enjoyed them all on drums (Low was really tough though), but then again I'm a huge blink 182/Travis Barker fan.
If you play drums I would definitely recommend it, otherwise you can probably pass this up. Although, if you ever have a party Low would be a great song :p |

It's been a few years, but I played drums throughout high school and beyond... I gotta say, or better yet ask... What's so special about Travis Barker? No Blink song ever struck me as being challenging or unique... maybe it's just me, but if they wanted to highlight a drummer from that era, they shoulda gone with Chad Sexton from 311. He is WAAAAYYYYY better, IMO. It is nice to see that they finally added some Mike Portnoy. Just need more of it, as well as Peart and Bonham...

it's not all about technical difficulty when it comes to music. Travis is popular because of his rediculously catchy beats and even more so, in my opinion, his intensity when he plays.
Don't get me wrong, Portnoy destroys him in skill and he is easily one of my favorite drummers of all time, but I can still respect an excellent drummer who focuses more on rhythm than technical difficulty.
also, he has lots of tattoos. the only constant in the universe is skinny guy + lots of tattoos + television exposure = fame. _________________

Travis Barker is famous... that's pretty much it... well famous enough to get his own crappy tv show. Questlove is probably my favorite drummer.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivEGH9OIObQ here is my hard "Low" drums video.
The guitar on the DLC is so boring and easy... it's only fun if you're doing vocals/drums IMO. It's worth getting for parties though. |

Just because you don't like the music doesn't mean he isn't a talented drummer. _________________

I don't really like Blink182 that much- but Travis Barker is one of the tightest drummers out there. The man likes to make easy money. _________________

No it costs money. Low doesn't look hard, it looks easier than Mr. Brightside. |

Woah, so there is older Blink-182 songs? I wouldn't have guessed it'd work like that. Good thing, I used to be really into this band (in the 3rd grade.. But shit, nostalgia is there) _________________

A couple things...
1) Although, I never went out of my way to listen to them, I never said I didn't like some of the stuff I did hear from them.
2) I wasn't saying that he isn't a talented drummer. I was just saying that I didn't understand what all the hype about him was, because I never really heard anything that made him stand out from other drummers of that era.
I didn't mean to offend any TB fans out there, and I apologize if I did so. But.... Having said that. I still do believe that Chad Sexton is better, both rhythmically and technically speaking.
