I'm looking for a replacement Socket A motherboard since mine is faulty.

i'm not looking for a new system, i can't afford a 800$ system right now.

i've looked over the internet, and what i found was

Asus A7N8X whatever version (-E, -E Deluxe, Deluxe)

what would be my other choices since this one is still high priced and hard to find ???

MSI - ATI ?
NO GIGABYTES PLEASE. i'm stuck with one right now. hehe

thnkx a bunch.

Louis

Well, since Socket A is about four sockets ago, you're going to have a hard time finding a selection of motherboards with it. Newegg only has 4 different ones listed, and two of them are open box. It comes down to what you can find. None of the brands on Newegg stand out to me as being particularly good. You're just going to have to buy whatever you can find and hope for the best, until you have enough money to buy a new processor and a new motherboard as well.
