Hey is anybody from Hawaii in here? If not, do you know anybody, or have any common misconceptions about Hawaii?
Like for example: WE ALL DON'T LIVE IN GRASS HUTS!!!! _________________

That is a blatant lie, and you know it. We all know you guys have hatches under the rugs in your homes that lead to a massive underground village where everybody lives in those GOD DAMN GRASS HUTS. Just give up the charade, man. You deceive no one. |

well I went to hawaii a few years back, and I gotta say, volcanos (oes?) are not nearly as impressive in real life. I saw no lava plumes shooting into the air, I didn't see any rivers of magma and molten rock, and there wasn't fountains of ash and embers constantly being spewed from a boiling cauldron inside the volcano... if I recall correctly, all I saw from "the most active volcano" was some smoke... a lot of it, I guess, but just smoke, really...
otherwise it was pretty fun. how could it not be awesome living surrounded by crystal clear waters and awesome beaches? (which reminds me of the black sand beaches... pretty cool)
oh, and I saw a turtle. good times. _________________

I went two weeks ago. 4 liters of milk was 9 dollars
I was scared.
Why are there so many ABC stores in waikiki?
Seriously, there are thousands. _________________

ABC stores are like starbucks on the mainland. Speaking of which, I saw 2 starbucks about 50 feet away from each other in the Honolulu airport. WTF? _________________

Sorry to go off topic, but am I the only person who consistently reads this thread's title as "Kawaii!"?

Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man. | I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday. |

It's odd I posted a topic called 'Gamers from NC' with the same question as you but it got locked which was unnecessary since I wasn't looking for people to join a band I was just asking a question...
Anyways I've met quite a few people from Hawaii in IRC, SocialGamer, and SH. |

Yes.
I always wanted to visit Hawaii for 2 reasons:
1)The beaches, the sea, the nature, etc.
2)Lilo & Stitch >__________>
But I can't leave my country even if I had the money to do it xD _________________

If you ever do visit, be sure to make a sandwich for Pudge. He controls the weather, you know ;). _________________

Yeah, its pretty expensive there. But its still more of a bargain than England (which is where I lived last year) or *shudder* Ireland. Beautiful place, but dear jesus.. 18 euros for a standard sit-down type of meal?? (That's around $27 per person).
I see it as a trade-off. You get to live in fucking Hawaii, but you have to pay more. I think it's fair. ^_^
I'd love to visit Hawaii again, without my family arguing the whole time. :p It's very chill there, low stress. Also: haha I remember ABC stores. Waikiki is too crowded for me. If I go again I want to visit Kauai. /me actually can't think of any SH people from Hawaii though.... _________________

You gotta go to the Big Island! Stuff is A LOT cheaper here than in Oahu. Its also more local populated place, not to many big buildings or shops. Go for the beach and uh, the beach! _________________
