If you are going to flame me for it, go ahead. I'm sorry that you like the music that I hate. Get the fuck over yourself. Question my sanity? God have rest on my soul?

Relax dude, I was trying to be funny, and apparently failing. I just sort of thought it was weird that you NEVER seem to like anything that is released. Like I said, a negative opinion is one thing (I have them all the time), but when people consistently post in every DLC thread about how much they hate the songs that are released, they tend to give off an air of "I'll never be satisfied," and frankly, people are just tired of hearing it.

You don't have to like the bands or songs this week of course, I never said that you did. I certainly don't like all the bands or songs released every week. But those people that hate everything, every week... it's just sort of... sad, like a DLC depression. :/ They're like the Scrooges of DLC, and they make that fact known to everyone else. Sure the fact you don't like it doesn't ruin my fun... But do you gotta be such a sourpuss about it all the time?

By the way, you and I have a lot of the same favorite bands. That's why I'm baffled that you still don't like anything that GH produces. Color me confused, that's all. :|

Holy cow. Guiter Hero-ers, buy the shit out of Into the Void. What a tremendous song.

Well, really, since I don't own or want GH5, the only thing I take away from this is more contempt for Harmonix, who have no excuse for not delivering a Black Sabbath 12-pack (which they won't.)

Black Sabbath is cool, so is Breaking Benjamin, but OMG FROM YESTERDAY! One of my favorite songs ever, I've wanted it in GH/RB for a loooong time.

INTO
THE
FUCKING
VOID

All we need is Megadeth, and more import info from GHWT and GHGH and I'll be set. And maybe hints at band game imports...

Self assigned fanboys will NEVER be satisfied, no matter what game they support.

3 weeks of bad DLC with one week of good DLC seems to be the new trend for GH. Better than HMX's no weeks of good DLC lately. So happy that we finally have Black Sabbath Master Tracks.

Variety is key and this delivers on that. That's why the last few weeks of Rockband dlc have been lackluster for me, not enough variety.
Next week: Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, and The Who!

Seriously? Again?! Jesus.

I don't know, Metal + Blues + CCR = 3 amazing weeks.

Black Sabbath?

MASTERS??!!?

That has to be the single biggest DLC pack since the Maiden pack. I am shocked, and thoroughly excited. Probably be the only week though, they didn't get the Third Eye Blind songs I like (I only have that one album by them D

January for me can be 2 weeks of not as bad DLC with 1 being bad like usual.

The general consensus for most people seem to be "MOAR METAL, everything else is crap". Seriously, try listening to other types of music. This is an awesome month for me, as I like all of the bands on here. As for the songs, sure, it may not be their Number 1 hits, but they are from the artists I like and I would be willing to get them. Playing number 1 hits gets really old as well, I like the idea of lesser-known songs by top artists getting the attention they deserve.

While I don't find all other music crap, I do find metal songs to be the most fun in music games, because after I beat the game I just play the last tier. It just so happens that the last tier is mostly metal. Still waiting for a Tech Death pack with Sleep Terror and Decrepit Birth though*, :\, but I'll take Black Sabbath over nothing.

*This will never ever come out on GH5. They already released a metal pack so it's time to play the waiting game.

Hi nice to meet you my name is Dylan. I like the music that I like. Guitar Hero tends to not release the kind of music that I like. I took the liberty of bolding all the bands on your list that are in the guitar hero series for you.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Muse, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Rush, Jane's Addiction, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, John Frusciante, Foo Fighters, Deep Purple, Living Colour, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Clash, The Rolling Stones, Boston, The Police, Black Sabbath, R.E.M., Metallica, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Tenacious D, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Jethro Tull, Mastodon, Dinosaur Jr., Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, The Presidents Of The United States Of America, Megadeth, Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, That Handsome Devil, Dead Kennedys, Thin Lizzy, The Replacements, Suicidal Tendencies, Steely Dan, Audioslave, Sublime, Them Crooked Vultures

Yeah, I know they aren't all on the same game as DLC but come on.

My thoughts. I'm not familiar with ANY of the songs being released this month. After listening to them most sound like they're worth getting.

He saw the part that said Van Halen and didn't continue reading on probably and missed that it was Third Eye Blind returning from their appearance in GHVH. (at least that's how I see it)

30STM.. if they chart the synth might provide some alright charts, (Damn those guys use a lot of synth). Not really my type of music but the GF likes it.

I don't really listen to Breaking Benjamin, but the last pack on RB was suprisingly fun, so will hopefully be a batch of decent guitar charts.

Black Sabbath masters are epic, but I'd rather see some different songs. (Children of the Grave, Never Say Die) but ah well, Black Sabbath is Black Sabbath.

Third Eye Blind. Who? I have no idea, never heard of these guys. I'll have to wait and see the charts.

Overall not bad, but still other than Black Sabbath a wait and see the charts month.

I'm talking specifically about (recent) DLC. Most of these bands are famous, its obvious that they are going to be on the games.
