No problem, and I don't even know why that pitchfork review was written. _________________

Question: What's going to happen to the album review you missed on 8/6?
Anyways yes everyone ever should by The Human Equation. _________________

Don't forget to check out Ayreon's other offerings.
Their discography is pretty much a giant story. _________________

This.
Personally I'd go with 01011001, it's the last album. The entire second disc of it is amazingly composed. The Electric Castle has some good songs on it too... though I wouldn't say that any of the albums are bad by any means. _________________

Fixed.
Honestly, I really want to.
Also, FUN FACT: The last line of The Human Equation is the first line of the first album. _________________

It went missing.
Ok quick review then: Even on the sad songs, it sounded too cheerful. It sounded way too much like christian rock. 30%. _________________

DAY 4: The New Pornographers - Electric Version
Indie
Ahh, the album containing the RB1 staple... well, The Electric Version.
This album reminds me a bit of the Beatles, in the fact that it has a nice pop-rockish sound to it. BUT at the same, they craft their own unique tone/sound.
The drums are...well, if you've heard The Electric Version, then you have a pretty good idea on how good the drumming is on the album.
The guitar sounds the same... per se... but the actual sound of it kinda changes from song to song. The song is always fitted with the guitar... well, it's always good.
The singer is actually NOT ALWAYS A GUY! In fact, it's almost never a guy! It's mostly a girl! And she's damn good! !!
Bass...It's not heard... like always!
Anyway, this is a...spectacularly average album. I recommend it! On the fact that it's average! Or maybe slightly above!
SCORE:
69% _________________

Hey Z, I like the short/sweet/to-the-point-ness of your reviews, and I also like how I read all your posts in Gary Coleman's voice, and combining those makes this thread really interesting. If I could request something, though - if you're going to give a percentage, I would ask that 50% be a totally average album, as that only makes sense to me since 50% is in the middle of 0 and 100, you know? This isn't school, so there's no reason to go by that kind of grading system, and it is very strange how you say you didn't really like the Hellogoodbye album (for example) and then turned around and gave it a 68, which looks above average to me. Also, "christian rock" isn't a sound.
Regards,
NavyCherub. _________________

Hey NavyCherub,
Yes, 50% is a totally run of the mill album. But rarely does a album really actually just strike as just AVERAGE. My opinion on it will most likely think that it's above average, or below average. Also, I said I didn't like parts of the album, but other parts were really good, so I scored it that. Looking back on it, yes, it probably should have gotten around a 50%, but at the time of review, it was about right for me.
Also, on the christian rock thing, I said that because, well, Most christian rock sounds like it. I should have probably said something like, "poppy" or "light", but you know, I suck.
