That'd be a regular button press. _________________

Yeah, when I ran tutorials I was surprised it wasn't included too. They are essentially tap-sustains. Hold the button and don't scratch. |

No need to hold the button. It's just a regular tap that they didn't feel like putting outside the sequence.
You're talking about the hold notes. He's talking about the taps in sequences.
Well also be seeing long directional scratches in the full game _________________

When you calibrate it takes you to a screen where the notes continuously flow down the highway. You use a little meter on the right side to adjust the beats up and down until they cross the bracket at the same time at the beat.
Then audio calibration is basically the same. Hit the button when you hear the note. Afterwards, it plays the notes over again for you to test it out. _________________

the freestyling is cool; it responds a little funny to me but i guess u get used to it. i find it difficult to make fast scratch sounds; it seems as though i have to try a lot harder to scratch fast when freestyling as opposed to regular fast scratch measures that u see in a song.
i really wish they made a newer version of the turntable controllers. they need to be more reliable and they need to make the platter lighter like the renegade edition. i need to find a new renegade deck since mine is doing weird shit. mdawg im surprised u dont use renegade platter or maybe u do
really looking forward to online play though |

I played the two songs in a setlist this time....and WOW.
I have been wanting seamless setlists in rhythm games since we've had setlists in Rock Band. Song #2 loaded so fast that I missed the first notes when I glanced away!
I mean, DJ Hero 1 did a good job of having the setlists feel seamless, but DJH2, like it has been doing for everything else, really takes what DJH1 did and drives the point home.
I also like if I press a button during the rewind (for example when I stop the turntable) it doesn't break combo anymore. The engine is very solid, and many of the minor problems I had with DJH1 have been fixed.
For me, DJ Hero 2 went from a
"I'll wait til it's on sale" to
"I'll wait for the holidays" to
"I'll buy this some time in October"
and now, thanks to this demo, "I'm pre-ordering this!"
Amazing job, FreeStyleGames. |

Haven't you seen my videos and/or pictures? I have 3 renegade decks... lol
I think the renegade deck is heavier though, not lighter. _________________

I didn't have to pay for any of them.

My latest groundhog video has it. I don't think I had any renegade turntables back then. That video was recorded the day Wolfgang's 5th symphony was released. I really need to get a new one of those uploaded. I have one finished but I have been too lazy to edit it. _________________

Could just be cause neither of the demo songs have a guitar part. Dunno. _________________

Nope, guitar tracks are gone. This mix is DJ and vocals only. _________________
