OK, so I just reinstalled GHIII, and everything is fresh. I copied a fresh identifier into the songlist editor folder. I then got the GH80 songs in there. I went through the steps and everything is correct. I fire up GH80 and when I choose a song, it crashes to desktop during the loading screen. Unreal.
I have installed GHIII onto a slave drive (F because I have more room there. Is the Switcher always pointing at C: drive by default? Could this be reason it's crashing? I have told the Switcher where my GhIII exe file is. |

Hmmm...the "GH80" folders in the SONG and MUSIC folder were causing the crash to desktop. I put the songs back where they belong and it is working A+ now. |

You have to copy them back there after you imported all your songs of your different versions ;) _________________

i never made separate folders in the songs or music folders..... i really don't see why you would have to.
and stinger, if 2.0 changes the way stuff works, i'll update my tutorial as required... but if you could give me a heads up on what you have in mind, i'd be very interested to see what you have cooking.... |

Can you smell what Stingers is cooking?
XD
Seriously I'm presently adding different things, like a "Add custom tracklist", which allows you to have up to 100 different tracklist, you can name them and choose which image you wat for them. I'm presently working on something which will remeber which "interface" you were having last time (because the 5 buttons are customizable). I'm also trying to make that SONGS and MUSIC folders manipulation easier. However, I promise nothing for this functionnality.
It really needs all lot of work before it is finish, because most of things I'm doing, I never made them before, so it needs a lot of a try before a single function works.
It'll stay with the same basic interface, because it find it really easy to use.
So... after 3 hours straight of programming, I'm going to bed... _________________

Because ppl using v0.3, v0.31 or v0.32 have to... If the songlist editor finds songs with complete fsb.xen, dat.xen, pak.xen, it will import the songs automatically. So you have to move them to a temporary folder to start with a "fresh" identifiers file and be allowed to save, or else you'd have too many songs _________________

I have vista 64 so the Gh3 install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Aspyr. When I run the editor, I have to manually enter the ...Aspyr\Guitar Hero III\DATA directory because of the "(x86)" attached to the program files folder. Is this going to have some kind of conflict with the switcher program as well? |

i don't see why it would, as the switcher program asks you to point it to your gh3.exe file |

I'm kind of confused, do we have to leave the boss battles in the game or not when modifying the setlist? |

Ok, so then do you expland tier 8 to 6 songs and if so do you put Freebird before or after the bossdevil battle? Or are you guys moving Freebird to the bonus section? |

Put 6 songs in the tier. The last one has to be the battle.
So put Freebird in the fifth location

The GHSwitcher 2.0 project is advancing. The program now look bug free. However, there's still the MUSIC and SONGS problem to be resolve. I'll try my best to find a way. _________________
