I've always enjoyed the upstrum twist, and I've always enjoyed note streak < x twists (yay, time to path!). I <3333333 Prayer of the Refugee, and have no real comment for In Love due to not remembering it at all (FCed it fairly quickly on hard, and I don't think I've actually played it on expert yet >_>).
All in all, 3 out of 4 <3333s isn't so bad this week _________________

x < 80... looks like I'll be playing around with the SP path and chart
Up-strum only will be pretty difficult... especially on PotR. I'd pretend I'm a bassist and use multiple fingers, but the strums will probably fall back down too hard and end up over-strumming me >_> |

Looks like this time my twists (whcih I love) will bring me down near the bottom. My best scores (passing scores that is) on week 1 were on.. Medium.
Upstrum will be interesting, as I also downstrum normally. Less than X streaks are annoyingly amusing. (Amusingly annoying?)
I'm SO glad to be doing twists again though that I'm not complaining. _________________

I hope my Slow Ride score went through. >=/
I couldn't even pass RaBl, so whatever.
PotR I can FC upstrumming, I did that before with ease. In Love I've never played before so yeah<_< _________________

Yeah, I had to go down to Medium for Slow Ride. And didn't feel like playing RaBl over 9000 times attempting to pass it again on Expert, so I bumped down to Hard for that one. My scores suck horrendously, but oh well. I'm still having fun. _________________

note to self:
scores must be in by ~1pm Australian time grrrr
EDIT: haha these songs + rules look interesting.
i can see myself restarting In Love many a time trying to keep under that there note streak.
hopefully some hectic 100% overstrum action'll be heading your way soon ;) _________________

I did alot better on Slow Ride than I thought I would(155k). I can 5 star it consistantly on expert now. I only played Raining Blood twice though.
The less than 80 note streak should be alot easier on GH3 with that note streak counter thing.
I'm hoping for Mauvais Garcon in performance mode next week . |

155K on Slow Ride and near 260K on RaBl, I'd say I had a good week.
As for this week, PotR shouldn't be too difficult, since I've had a lot of practice upstrumming when my old LP's downstrum busted. As for In Love, UGH. I've always hated the x < NS twist, but that's probably because I despised playing it the last time it came up for me(S5 OB league, fucking War Pigs of all songs T_T). At least there's a counter under the multiplier, and at least In Love is maybe half the length of War Pigs lol. Now that makes 4 songs I've got to path(one of the bass songs, can't remember, Nightmare & Orange Crush for guitar/bass, now In Love). _________________

This^
And I couldn't find time to enter Slow Ride scores, so I only got in a 51k score. I'm screwed in this league. _________________

I got a shitty Slow Ride score (<100k), and a really good RaBl one (about 260k)
This round should be a bit more interesting. the <80 NS should be fun, and upstrums WOULD be fun on a song that isn't prayer of the refugee. _________________

My scores were 'meh'. 160k on Slow Ride, 190k on RaBl. I don't know how you people are getting 5* and above scores on RaBl. D:
As for this weeks songs... I don't remember In Love much, and I love PotR (although upstrum-only may prove difficult...) _________________

Crap score on Slow Ride, I couldn't even remember it! I do remember that I got 81%, though.
And I 5-starred RaBl with ~236K, if I remember correctly! _________________

>__> i can't get the faster chords in the middle of the song. My index finger is about to fall off.
And I've never played in twists before, so the less than 80 note streak should be interesting.
I think I got one of the highest raining blood scores
can't wait for results... |

wow
I'm seeing some really high scores here
I just got 123K on Slow Ride
and 105K on RaBl
awell, I said i'm not going to take this as seriuosly as in the past since its mainly for fun
Up strums on Prayer of the Refugee is gonna hurt, especially in the solo
looking forward to it though
and In Love, judging from the name of the song and the 2 second preview of it, I've never in fact played it
But Keeping a low note streak on a song idk shouldn't be too hard |
