UPDATE 1: I actually fc'd solo b on slow today and can keep the x4 combo on full speed for the easier parts. I might get a hands video once i can get it a little more consistently on slow. I think for fullspeed i am going to have to change my technique a little bit.
I also am pretty close to an fc on slow for solo c, the last yellow part thing is giving me some trouble but a little practice on slower should help that out .
First Post: Yes it seems a little wierd, but I have 0 FC"s on GH2, and decided to shoot for jordan as my first  . I can FC every part except Solo B and C, however I have gotten Solo B and C on slower and am just building up speed now. I think i have around 10-15 FC's on GH3 and 10 on GH:WT.
This is just to document me as i work towards an epic first gh2 fc .

haha, yeah Im ready for some serious stress. I have a low work load this quarter and ill probably have a lot of spare time so why not put it towards something productive -_-. In other news, I feel im fairly decent at guitar hero in case some people think im not even close to the skill level needed. I have 600k + on ttaff so im not HORRIBLE ( i think  ) |

I think with 600+ on TTFaF it would be possible, just takes oodles of practice + dedication + frustration + pain + aching fingers + broken guitars + strings of profanity etc.

| ya I wasn't meaning that you weren't good enough. But there are still only like 10 or so FC's of it ever, so even if you have like 900,000 on ttfatf it would still be quite the achievement |

28 people have FCed Jordan, however, 1370 people have at least 600k on TtFaF, quite a big difference. not trying to discourage you or anything birdo, but have fun with that tough journey. |

You've got some serious work to do if you gunna succeed. Even really good players have trouble with Jordan. But I wish you good luck and if you need help you can check my Jordan FC guide (link in sig)

Yes, we all know, including him, that this is gonna be one hell of a trip. But remember, jamesw wasn't that much different when he started going for the Jordan FC. He was some no name with no real accomplishments who could do Solo B and C on slower, but he kept at it and then BANG, he was Jordan FC #24 if I'm not mistaken.
Good luck. I'm not going to say you can do this, I'm also not going to say you can't. That much is up to you. All I can say is good luck, god speed, and may the force be with you.

I was the 16th person to do it 
But it was my 25th FC, maybe that's where you got confused.
Good luck kid, I remember I made this my goal a long time ago, and worked at it so much until my brother couldn't stand hearing the song anymore (and then some :P). If you ever need help with technique, feel free to shoot me a PM, I worked on this song for 3 months and spent most of that time ironing out the way I approached the solos, so if I can help you shorten that time that would be really cool.

I think you could totally go for this but right now you should try to FC easier songs. I myself have deviated from the FC list quite a bit, i've only FCed 19 songs on GH2 yet among those are Psychobilly Freakout, Freebird, Arterial Black, Gemini, Carry Me Home, and a few other really tough songs. Right now i'm going for Institutionalized as #20. Jamesw had more FCs than me and he took months, and unless you get a lucky break it's going to take you quite a while to get this. If you focus on only this song I can guarantee you will probably get frustrated somewhat. How you deal with that frustration is up to you, but I recommend finding some songs at least around 50 on the FC breakdown to focus on first. After all, you need some precedent on working on a hard song to work your way up to Jordan.
Most people would recommend that you start with easy stuff like X-stream, Yes We Can, etc., but I say aim much higher. I still haven't FCed those songs because I don't like them thus I don't play them. Find a really hard song that you like (Carry Me Home was my first "good" FC) and start figuring out how to play it. You'll work your way up to Jordan soon, but I think if you're going to be ambitious you also have to be reasonable. I'm not saying you can't do this, just that you should prepare yourself by FCing other difficult songs first.
For the record, I can hit solo B on slower as well and I still haven't passed Jordan  .
