In other news, I FC'd Talk Talkin' and King of Rock! Both took two tries each.
THEN, I GOT A 99% RUN WITH A 600 NOTE STREAK ON TKAR!!!! I 97'd Observation solo 1 and 93'd baggage B, among other misses.
I'm retarded, so I didn't check how many notes I missed, but I'm pretty pleased with that work. :]]]
I also have a technical FC of Walk this Way, so I might try and FC that sometime soon :]

walk this way is hard your good at at GHA man! I suck i cant hamer on and pull off for crap.. is GHm better than ghA with the HO and OPs?

haha nah they have the same HO/POs =/
And it sucks indeed, but the thing about the new HO/PO system, is that when the HO/POs you have to hit are fast (Walk this Way, TKAR, Saddle, etc.), it wouldn't really make a difference if it was on GH3 or GH:A, so it's all good haha 'cause I loathe the new HO/PO system as well =/

and your goign fown on mississippi queen I have alredy desided that i will wina nd it's the start of the week expect paine! I think I am getting carpoltunnel syndrome in my arm if fucking hurts when I play TTFAF on medium.
betta get it checked out but even if i do i will win 4eva!

Sure! I think 30 is fairly reachable for both of us. I'm currently at 21 FCs (All the easy ones... lol) and I'll start working on new ones this week. I don't know if I'll have the patience to go all the way up to 30 before taking a break and swapping game, because I don't like playing GH:A that much. We'll see though.
So, you want to create a thread in the rivalry section, or just stay updated in our respective accomplishment thread?
Also, if you're going for 50 FCs across all games, or something like that, be sure to drop by GH:WT. There are still a whole lot of FCs you could grab there. ;)

haha yeah I don't really like GH:A that much either, but I think it would be pretty cool to have 30 FCs. And I currently have 20, so it's perfect!
Wanna make it a little more interesting though?
Here's the [possible] catch. One of the 30 FCs has to be any of the following:
Back in the Saddle
Beyond Beautiful
Train Kept A Rollin'
Mercy
Joe Perry Guitar Battle
I'd also include Walk This Way (Vault), but I know that I could FC that if I spent a little time on it (All it is for me is not choking in the outro solo trills).
Whaddaya say? If you don't want to, we can just do a straight up race to 30 FCs.
And we could make a Rivalry thread. I could create one and run it, or you could. Either way works.

I know that green would get Tkar if he was going to 30 FC's he has 99% on it.
Back in the saddle is a bitch!
Mercy or Joe g battle is the hardest there go mercy some1!!
and i think it would be more appropriate if there was a rivalry thread made than having a rivalry in accomplishment threads haha.
Just my opinion but.

Ugggggh what? Man you know how to make a rivalry harder than everyone first thought.  But yeah, I accept this "term". I REALLY don't know if I have what it takes to FC any of those songs, but if not, then I don't deserver to win. (  )
I'll make the thread in Rivalries in about half an hour.

You know your life sucks when:
1. You get diagnosed with swine flu
2. Your grandfather dies
3. You realize that you have 8 AP/IB exams in the next two weeks that you haven't even BEGUN to study for
4. You spend upwards of 4.5 hours on the same song and continuously CHOKE.
Guess how many happened to me.
Yup... My life sucks.
Although only 3 and 4 happened to me, thank god.
Seriously though. FUCKING MONSTERS.
I played it for over four hours, and became extremely consistent at the following:
1. The solo
2. Choking in the following places:
a. 2/10 times in Chorus 1
b. 5/10 times in the YB chord transition into Chorus 2
c. 2/10 times in the solo
d. 1/10 times after the solo
i.e. I NEVER HIT IT.
Here was the first of my three post-solo chokes:
FORTY FUCKING NOTES. I missed in the slow RB chords 'cause I kept strumming at the same speed.
FUCK.
Can anyone tell me how to hit the YB chords consistently? That's the only thing keeping me from getting to the solo consistently, and since I've gotten mad consistent on the solo, if I can get to it consistently, the FC WILL fall VERY soon.
tl;dr: Monsters FC eludes me, I'm fucked for AP/IB tests, I don't have swine flu, and my life sucks.

What? Did I read that correctly? Did you mention IB as in "International Baccalaureate"? Oh god, this will follow me everywhere... I'm actually in my last IB year, and my exams are starting next week. Three motherfucking weeks swarmed with FIFTEEN goddamn exams taken straight from the depths of Hell itself. Oh god, when will this be over?  (Kill me)
Also, about Monsters, don't get too mad. Just take a day or two off the song, and come back to it. I remember when I was going for Feel The Pain FC on GHWT, and couldn't get it for my life. Even though I was FCing the solo 90% of the time in practice mode, I couldn't do it in a real run. Then I went to FC other songs and came back the day after, or maybe two or three days later, can't remember, and FCed it on my first goddamn try. [That's when tears of happiness started to pour from my eyes.  ]
tl;dr: There's one thing you have to "give": not "up", but "yourself a chance to breathe".
