Seriously though. FUCKING MONSTERS.
I played it for over four hours, and became extremely consistent at the following:
1. The solo
2. Choking in the following places:
a. 2/10 times in Chorus 1
b. 5/10 times in the YB chord transition into Chorus 2
c. 2/10 times in the solo
d. 1/10 times after the solo
i.e. I NEVER HIT IT.
Here was the first of my three post-solo chokes:
FORTY FUCKING NOTES. I missed in the slow RB chords 'cause I kept strumming at the same speed.
FUCK.
Can anyone tell me how to hit the YB chords consistently? That's the only thing keeping me from getting to the solo consistently, and since I've gotten mad consistent on the solo, if I can get to it consistently, the FC WILL fall VERY soon.
tl;dr: Monsters FC eludes me, I'm fucked for AP/IB tests, I don't have swine flu, and my life sucks. |

In other news, I think I will try to get 250/280 FC's on GH3 (all difficulties).
The way I see this working is:
E: 70 (obv)
M: 70 (ttfaf isn't hard.. will get soon)
H: 67 or 68 (might even get One)
X: 45 or so

Yer man you scored the shit out of me i was like wow that really sucks arse that he got the flu than your like an that didn't happen.. But sorry about your grand father.
hungry you could do that TTFAF medium FC is easy If i hadn't played it some much when i first started playing guitar hero i would have gone and FCed it by now. I am over the medium chart so bad can't stand to play it any more really. everything else is a quick 1 for you 45 FC's on X will be challenge though yes?
and agreenpastel I am sorry that you can't hit Monsters! I would be bitching so bad!! I have a minus 1 or 2 on that I think I never went for the FC really hard though We should play it in the rivalry soon.!

As for the YB chords, there is 6 of them, followed by the GYB chord of the chorus, so strum it like the darkness riff in One. Good luck

I only have IBSL Bio, AP Bio, IBHL English, AP Lit, IBHL Spanish, AP Spanish (  ), IBHL History, and AP Gov. I took AP Calc and SL Math and SL Physics last year, so I'm done with Math and Science. Bio is my elective ('cause I can't do music theory for crap xD)
And about Monsters, yeah I haven't played GH in two days, so the next chance I get to play it will be tomorrow. My biggest worry is that I'll have unlearned how to play the solo, and I won't ever FC it . And dude, that tl;dr is a sick quote. Did you come up with it?

I'm not too sure what you mean by AP IB and stuff. It doesn't look exactly like what I get. Maybe it depends of our age. I heard there was something before the IB in which I am, for teenager aged around 15 I think. I'm turning 19 Monday.
About those 2 or 3 exams per subject, it's supposed to be how the IB works. In exemple, in Physics, we get:
-Test #1 (We call it Épreuve 1 in French), which consists of 40 A-B-C-Ds questions. It lasts 45 minutes.
-Test #2 (Épreuve 2), which is split in two parts: A has I think 6 questions that aren't too long, while B presents you 4 pretty long questions, and you have to solve 2 out of the 4. It lasts 2 hours 15 minutes.
-Test #3 (Épreuve 3), which constists of a few questions about the two "extra subjects" our school chose amonst a selection. (Subjets are like G - Electromagnetic waves, H - Relativity, etc.) It lasts 1 hour I think.
And it goes like this for the other subjects too. In English, for exemple, we have:
-Test #1: Comparative commentary over 2 texts (You choose between 2 sets of texts) 1h30
-Test #2: Essay on a question you choose. (I don't know how many questions they give you. Must be 4 or 6. You answer 1.) 1h30
Oh, and 1h30 is pretty damn short to write such a text. Today was my English #1, and I didn't manage to finish my conclusion before time ran out... so I'm missing like 2 sentences. Fuck me.

Yeah we have those too, but we just add it all up to one exam.
So I have like 2 IB English exams, 3 IB History exams, 3? IB Biology exams, 3? IB Spanish exams = 11 IB exams, and then 4 AP tests, so 15 total tests. Just like you

First things first. The story.
I came home today expecting to get a quick Monsters FC so I could work on the rivalry songs for the week: Walk This Way and Beyond Beautiful.
It started out pretty decently. I FC'd the solo like 5 times out of 7 and then decided to take a real run of the song. I played it like 10 times and choked before the solo EVERY TIME. I was getting a little annoyed, and so I decided to try practicing some different solos for a little bit. I played a couple fun solos and came back to it.
At this point, I couldn't even make it to the FIRST CHORUS.
I was hitting the YB chords right before the chorus 0 out of 101010101010123929 times. Literally. I was getting so pissed off and so I just went to GH:A. I worked on Beyond Beautiful for a bit and went through it once, FC'ing everything outside of Solo A and Outro Solo C, which I can FC for the most part. I played Walk this Way's Solo 3 for five minutes and nailed it a few times, but I doubt I'll get consistent enough for an FC within the next few days.
ANYWYAYSYSYSYSY, I came back to GH3 and started playing Monsters again. Once again, I missed in the same place. So I was like "wtf" and took Oooh No. 1 to the firstchorus into practice mode. I played until I missed and at that point, the note streak was 35.
So then I got rid of the chorus and just played Ooh. That section is 36 notes.
Whazzis mean? I wasn't strumming enough. So I took the two sections into practice mode again and tried to FC more than I had been doing it. FC first try.
I did it in a real run and first run, I choked in the chorus and FC'd everything else, increasing my high score by 8k to 448k.
VERY NEXT RUN I FC'D THE FUCKING SONG. NO POST-SOLO CHOKES. NO NOTHING.
And the cool thing is, I knew it was coming. My heart was racing even before the Bridge 3 trills. I knew it was going to be an FC.
Here's the big thing now:
According to ScoreHero, my score is 6 points away from an 8*, but the picture clearly says I got 5.200x = 8*. Unfortunately, the only cutoff proofs you can do are for 4 and 5* cutoffs. Right?
How do I get my 8*s on Monsters?

Moral: Always trust what a Scientist says! :P
What are you going for next? C'mon, we want 40 FCs by the end of the week!
Also, I think you should update your signature; Monsters is harder than SOSAD/Always on the run, in my opinion.

haha yeah dude thanks for believing in me!
And lol if it wasn't May, I might actually try to get as many FCs as humanly possible, but I probably won't be able to play much GH this week due to testing =/
And here are the songs that are next on my list:
Down N' Dirty (unlikely. This song has given me so much hell...)
Stricken (needs a LOT of solo work. I literally played it once and FC'd it twice in a row, but that's really all I've done with it)
CoFwRaR (Another song that was quite annoying a few months ago, we'll see. I can quite easily FC it for sure, so I might)
RaRAN (Haven't played the solo in a couple weeks, maybe not)
RYLaH (Intro is annoying, and I suck at the Solo 3 ziggy, but definitely a possibility)
La Grange (easily FC'able... Maybe)
And of course I could always go for the easy crap that I don't have (like all of the first few tiers)
This is just from GH3, mind you.
I still have Beyond Beautiful and Walk this Way to FC by the end of the week, and if I'm lucky and devoted, TKAR by summer.
I'm also open to any suggestions that aren't something like "gogoRaBlFC even though you can't even 4* it" haha
And oh yeah! I forgot about that. I'll go edit it momentarily :]

Go for COFRAWR and La Grange first, there the two easiest from the list, and with them done you'll be more confident for the other ones.

If you're talking about the Vault version of Walk This Way, then good luck. I find it pretty damn hard... Couldn't get a technical FC of it when I tried, because of the last section of the song I think. But I remember you saying you didn't include it in the list of hard songs for the rivalry because you were close to FCing it, so you might just have the capability of doing it quickly, who knows?
I'll be checking again later. For now, I have to finish a French essay before going to bed. (And I'll probably have me some Banjo-Tooie before sleep0r. )

Yeah I'll probably pick those two up pretty quickly the next time I touch a plastar.
And yeah WtW DMC is like wtfimpossible =/. I have a techieFC of the vault version, but I'm not too consistent, so we'll see.
