Yup that's exactly what I did.
Unfortunately, I got tired of playing and missing in the same damn spot every time, so I'll take a break for a bit, and then come back later today or maybe even not until Monday (probably won't play tmrw due to Mother's day). I know the FC is coming though. I'm 95% consistent on both the first part of Solo A (the one with the ziggy) as well as Outro Solo C (the only time I miss is if I try and get unlimited front end on a yellow note) so as soon as I hit the second part of A, it's over. _________________

Happy Mother's Day!
Hey so remember when I edited my FC goals a few days ago?
And Nothing For Me Here was red? Well IDK... It might be blue now.
I just got a GODLY increase on it. I went from a 93% 140k and barely getting a 100+ note streak to a 98% 206k run with 2 or 3 200+ NOTE STREAKS!!!! A -18 run and a 3.450x multiplier means that my score shot up at least 1.4 stars!!!
I only missed like 3 of the transitions too! I'm excited.
I also increased my RaBl score by 40k. It's currently sitting at a 4.5*, but if I FC Hard Rain (for some reason I now strum the gallops too fast ) and activate a 2-3 path, there's no reason I shouldn't get at LEAST a 5*.
So I'll go do that, and maybe try for a NFMH 6*!!! _________________

Like the title says, this week will be hellishly bomb.
Here are a few goals for the end of the week, as well as the work I have to do to achieve the goal (listed in order from most plausible to least plausible):
- Nothing For Me Here Technical FC
- Learn the fast strumming in the solos
- FC Chorus 2 (Currently at a -2)
- Raining Blood 5*
- Get a lucky run in which I am able to execute a 2-3 path without any crazy fuckups
- The Way it Ends 300k
- Just keep playing it to build endurance. Hopefully it will come. I can now combo through most of the non-fast strumming (i.e. FC both solos 7/10 times, and nail the gallop part)
- I'm in the Band FC
- Just picked this song for the rivalry. Currently have 5.3* on it. It's not too difficult, and I can FC the solo very consistently.
- Learn to alt-strum stuff that doesn't need to be alt-strummed. Why? Because this song has fucked up progressions in triplets that come pretty quick and pretty often. I'm going to have to be alt-strumming to be really consistent.
- Full Main Setlist 6* outside of tier 8
- Kool Thing - Really just have to force myself to play it. If I learned that weird fast yellow strumming part, I could even FC it.
- Black Sunshine - Yeah tried it today, had a bad run, 5.8'd it. Just need to play it and I'll hit it
- Knights of Cydonia - Unlikely... I just 5*'d it for the first time today. I'm going to need some crazy luck to 6* it. Or maybe I just need to find a path and learn to alt-strum the outro.
- Raining Blood 300k
- Become even more consistent at the parts I can FC almost every time: Hard Rain, Mosh 2, Chorus, Floodlol
- Practice Verse
- Practice Bridge
- FC from Verse to Chorus
- Create a new path that utilizes all 6 of the phrases that I'll likely get. Probably 2-2-2 with activations in Hard Rain, Mosh 2, and Chorus
- Get 20k consistently out of Flood (I usually get 14-15)
- 5* Number of the Beast
- Learn how to hit the introthing while alt-strumming (I usually give up on downstrumming around 200 notes in if I'm lucky and then lose the FC)
- Learn the crazy 3 note chord shit (verse?)
- Ohlolthat's it. Probably not too terribly difficult... It's just a matter of spending the time to learn it...
Oh, and I also finally 5*'d KoC today. RaBl's next. Mauvais Garcon will not happen anytime soon (you'd have to pay me 10 bucks just to get me to play it). TTL won't either. TWiE is pissing me off 'cause I still suck at it... TTFAF I can't even pass, and NotB is hard .
I also got a few new 6*s. I'm now up to 52
It'd be cool if I could hit 65 before I get a FG5*-TTFAF. I honestly believe it could happen, considering TTL and TWiE are extremely unlikely to happen... _________________

Flood is a noob section >___________>
Anywho, we should have a MG race. I need to FC it and you need to 5* it. My best is a -1 in the outro
Also, can we please change the song in our epic race from stricken to NFMH? It seems like you are getting closer on that than stricken, and I can't hit that solo for the life of me >_< _________________

For the fast strumming, I guess you're talking about measures 9-10, 91-92 and 123-124
If that's the case, I think you should try using the hammerons, it makes FC the strumming insanely easy. You just strum 4 notes, then hammeron one and strum 3, hammeron strum 3, etc. I personnaly strum those "gallops" DUD DUD DUD.

DUDU DUD DUD DUD DUD DUD DUD
It looks messe up... hope you can see what I mean.

Yeah I definitely know what you mean.
I thought about doing either that or strumming the first 8 and then galloping the rest... I guess it's just a matter of putting a bit of work into it and I'll get it. Thanks :]
How close are you on the FC?
And Santa, lol I would, but I honestly believe that I could get the FC before the end of May, so it wouldn't be that much of a "challenge" FC...
And dude how can you FC Mauvais Garcon???
I'd put it up there in the last ten FCs you can get, along with DnD (I FUCKING HATE THAT SONG NOW. I CAN"T CONSISTENLY HIT SOLO 2A ANYMORE FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK) _________________

Assuming you were asking this to me: I got a -9 run last night. Had 1 or 2 dumb mistakes outside of solos, 1 miss in Solo 3, FCed Solo 1 and 2... it was my first run since a while. (I had practiced the solos for a few minutes just before though.) _________________

haha yeah I was my bad
Nice dude! I'm sitting at a -18 right now but I miss a lot where it counts (SP phrases, etc.) so I don't even have a 6*...
I practiced it a bit today and am now extremely consistent at the fast strumming (not galloping, that takes too much thinking... So I just strum through all of it), so I can FC Solos 1 and 2 almost every time. Solo 3 sometimes trips me up too, but I figure 20 minutes with it in practice mode, and I'll conquer all the random strums that seem to break my combo.
Also, I figure that if I spent 1 hour in practice mode with Chorus 2, I'd be able to FC the transition, but do you have any tips for doing it?
I downstrum all of it (most consistent for me, although I can duhdu the fast part of the riff if need be, but then I have to downstrum the crazy chords), so I've tried abusing the timing window and hitting the green as early as possible and the BO as late as possible to maximize my probablity of nailing it, but it doesn't seem to be so much of a I don't have time to hit it problem as it is a I just tap the frets quickly and then lift the yellow and put it on blue for the next chord and so then I miss.
Do you have any tips?
Oh, and wanna race to it? I plan on getting it by Memorial Day at the latest hopefully. _________________

Bump.
BiF 6*
IitB 6*
IitB will be FC'd. I only played through it once to learn the path. I got a technical FC in under 10 minutes. What does this mean? That's it's fucKING EASY.
BiF, on the other hand, is not. I could probably get a technical FC of everything but the bridge, and I could probably FC the entire song outside of the bridge by tomorrow or Thursday, but I still believe that the bridge is impossible and all those who claim to have FC'd it (hi Santa) are really just liars that have somehow fabricated any and all proof of a BiF FC.
So if someone could teach me how to make a fake Bridge FC, please let me know (basically, I'm asking for Bridge help...)
NFMH is getting better... I'll have a techie for sure by the end of the week.
TWiE 3k increase. BUTBUTBUTBUTBUTBUTTTTTTTT
I finally have the ability to play through the entire verse with the pattern. So from now on, instead of practicing Verse 1 through Bridge 1 on slow, I'll practice Verse 1 on FS until I can FC it consistently, and then I'll add sections.
Oh, and I rape at the pre-solo bridges. But the solos give me enough time for my arm to rest, and so I go through Bridge 3 super fast and break combo, even though I still get a high percentage on it.
Oh, and RaBl 5* will happen. I'm wondering if I should even focus on it this week or if I should just dedicate a week to it at the end of the month and 5*/6*/300k it. We'll see.

My advice on Bridge: IDFK. I'm not even sure how I hit it >_>
Seriously, I am in so much pain hitting this part that a video of my face could go on America's Funniest Home Videos >___________________>
And maybe we should just IRC on the weekends, I'm a couple timezones ahead of you iirc.
I picked it so I get a free win and I can work on that Painkiller GS
Or Peace Sells. Or both. _________________

You're EST right? That's 3 hours ahead haha
Free win my butt. I'ma try to give you some competition.

Technical FCs on NFMH and PaJ
I'll try and FC Paj soon, as well as IitB. I plan on devoting most of next week to NFMH though.
I gave it one run today at the end, and FC'd up to Verse 2, but my arm was on fire and so I gave up =/
Played RaBl once today, missed 5* by 10k with a 2-2 path. I think it's safe to say that a 5* is very much within my grasp :]
Not much more to it... haha
I gave Lay Down one run today 'cause I like the song, and I missed (wtf) in like the second verse, so I stopped playing it. haha w/e I don't care about easy FCs right now... _________________

BUMP FOR SOME CRAZY SHITTT
First things first. I FC'd the Metal today. FINALLLYYYYYY
I played PaJ for fifteen minutes, got pissed of at the Verse 3 trill, got pissed off at how it takes like forty-five seconds just to get to that damn trill, and decided to play the Metal for shits and giggles.
I went into practice mode and played Infernal Breakdown. First try, -2. Next try, FC. I tried it again and I FC'd it.
Then I played the Middle 8. Both times I FC'd it.
So I decided to take it into a real run. I looked up the path, and BOOM. First try FC!!!
This just goes to show you how far I've come in Guitar Hero.
To go from being unable to even pass the song until I played it around 40 times, to being unable to 5* it for months, to spending two days grinding on it for the FC, to being able to FC it FIRST TRY.
That's how far I've come as a Guitar Hero. Forget about Monsters and SOSaD FCs... Anyone can spend 10 hours grinding two songs and FC'ing them. This is my proudest FC to date.
Oh and that's only the beginning. It was the only FC I got today (PaJ and IitB can suck it), but I did pick up some more 6*s and get some crazy shit done.
6*'d Black Sunshine
6*'d Go that Far
6*'d My Curse (with a 555 note streak!!! Not to mention after two runs where I barely missed the 6*)
7*'d CoP on a terrible run
I got a 960 note streak on One! But then I missed the fucking 6* by FUCKING 6k
And most importantly, I played Impulse and even though I missed my high score by 5k because of a stupid miss right before the trill, I 100%'d PSYCHOTIC BREAKDOWN!!!!!
It wasn't an FC, but somehow I hit all the notes in it!!! WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF YESSSSSSS
Oh, and I still haven't 5*'d RaBl, even though I only played it twice today =/
And fricking PotR can suck it. I still haven't 6*'d it, but I practiced the chorus for 3 minutes right before I stopped playing and FC'd it, so I'll get it tmrw.
LAST BUT NOT LEASTTTTTT
I INCREASED MY OVERALL SCORE BY ~400k TO 19 MILLION!!!! _________________
