whoever posted it on XBL made a little mistake. They named it Guitar Hero Hits, not smash hits.
Just throwing it out there. |

Maybe because it's Smash Hits in NA, Greatest Hits in Europe ? _________________

I downloaded it, then quickly realized how terrible I am at GH without hyperspeed, then got angry and deleted the demo. |

I've been seeing people complain about this demo, but I disagree. I really liked it.
All the songs were fun on drums. Especially Woman. That one part with all the rolls was confusing (mainly because of no HS), but enjoyable. Take Me Out and Rock and Roll All Nite were kinda repetitive, but also fun. I love how the hi-hat roll in the Take Me Out intro slows down. It feels badass for some reason. And RaRaN has a LOT of snare rolls, which I like.
For guitar, the songs were also fun. RaRaN was meh, but the others were great. This Take Me Out chart is my favorite out of the other two (GH1 and RB). Woman was also pretty enjoyable despite the absence of a solo (which the master didn't even have <__<).
Also, this was great on bass. Woman was REALLY fun on bass. RaRaN was also surprisingly fun. Take Me Out had the worst bass chart but that's not saying much.
Can't wait till the actual game comes out. |

I wasn't getting my hopes up for Vox since I knew that nothing would really be changed engine-wise, but still a blast for casual players and I even gained a bit of enjoyment despite this setback.
As far as Guitar goes, the charts seem pretty good, though I could've sworn that there was a guitar solo in RaRaN. Must be a live-only thing I guess. I knew Woman didn't have a guitar solo in the master so it didn't bother me at all. Take Me Out's a basic chart, but still has some fun value to it. I strummed all the notes, including HO/POs as an homage to GH1 for some reason XD.
I might pick it up, though the price point of $60 doesn't seem justified to me. _________________

There's nothing wrong with them like there is (are?) with purple notes. They're just different. There's no problem with the engine or anything. So hopefully you don't mean that....
75% done.... _________________

Woman is the gem of for the bassists, Rock And Roll All Nite is surprisingly fun, and Take Me Out is just like the RB chart. /me gets out the horn... BOOOORIIIING.
But worth it I think, looks good. _________________
