I've seen about 5 different videos where the player overhits between the and the -----------------------
Why is this?
Thanks in advance,

Just watched another 3 videos on this song, none of them overhit, maybe the people you watched were playing on Wii/PS3/PS2 (Note: only saying this because I know for a fact it isn't broken on 360, I'm not implying those systems suck, but there might be a forced combo break in there on one of those systems).
Either that or they were all accidental overhits =P _________________

GHP and someguy's co-op run comes to mind, also one with Expert + with a single pedal. I'm pretty sure they're both on 360 and both deliberate overhits. |

Could it be because they just got star power and are trying to activate it where they can not? _________________

Dez was definitely trying to activate SP in his vid. No idea why it didn't work. _________________

I'm gonna guess the engine is thinking that you're trying to hit one of the YO notes, instead of activating SP. Or something like that, at least.
Solution? Change your SP path. Unless it's better doing it that way _________________

I watched Azurite's video and he looked like he was trying to activate. |

They were indeed trying to activate. You CANNOT activate if the next note is the same as the pads required to activate (YB for RB kit, YO for GH kit). At least that has been my experience. To be fair, I didn't test it thoroughly. _________________

You are correct, however, I am pretty sure that in GH5 they have finally fixed that so you can. Of course TTFAF isn't on GH5 yet... _________________

Heh, I didn't even think about the fact that the O and Y (or B and Y in RB's case) are the pads you use to activate; I'm a guitarist myself, but this was one thing that was bugging me.
Thanks guys. |

azurite did it because he wanted to activate star power, but that plan failed. _________________
