I've only found out about this band a few months back or so.. But I've been listening to them quite a bit lately. Such weird stuff, but so good. I would write more about them.. But it's more something that I should just link you to..

I would like to add that the drummer in this band is UNREAL. Listen to anything on their full-length. He is a human metronome. I love the song "Rainbows" best, it has one of the most satisfying climaxes in any song that I've ever heard.

He really is a great drummer. I think I like the drumming in Atlas the most, or close to most anyway.. It's not that it's even terribly insane or that it gives off the "Omfg how is dis possible" vibe, haha.. I dunno, I just dig it

I've never really taken much notice of Battles, but since you're all talking about the drummer... he plays drums for Tomahawk as well, with Mike Patton on vocals. Well worth a listen. Their first album is best - it's got Kevin Rutmanis on bass, which is pretty much win 'cos he's awesome.

Not sure why not. I mean, it's not really impressive in the same way that the drumming from Dethklok's Laser Cannon Deth Sentence is or anything like that.. But it's still impressive in it's own way. I guess somewhat because it's just so unusual when compared to most of the stuff you usually hear

It's certainly an interesting track. Haha, I was sort of surprised to find out that people took the time to figure out all the lyrics (I don't know why though, I mean, of course people would). After reading them I can hear the words fine, whereas before I read them I wouldn't have been surprised if people told me they weren't even really words but just mumbling and such
