You mean the "no Afterlife FC = you suck" / "passing Scatterbrain = you rock" statements? Nope, that was two separate people in two consecutive weekly UStreams _________________

I've been playing about year... (sometimes more and sometimes not)
I started playing with GH3 and its not maybe best to start playing gh :/. Skills come with time, don't worry. I didn't even pass TTFAF... and then tomorrow I tried and passed it . It was a HUGE achievement for me :P. |

Well, the first GH game I played was like GH1 on easy in stores, but the first one I got was GH3 in October of 2008. GHWT came out the next day, but I got it later. I was very bad, I had to actually ask my brother to help me pass Lou Battle lol. But after 1 month, I had begun to play on hard(I could only pass up to Black Magic Woman though), and then I got my first expert FC in December(When You Were Young). I had managed to FC Bulls on Parade and My Name is Jonas before I got GHWT Guitar bundle and RB2 with drums for christmas.
When I got GHWT, I found the game harder than GH3 and had trouble with some of the songs(mainly Satch and HFT, TUI as well), but I found RB2 VERY HARD, it took me forever before I even passed Visions or Painkiller. With the GHWT Guitar, I found the game more fun to play because it was bigger and easier to reach the frets and strum bar. But then my Guitar didn't respond to downstrums, so I furiously stomped on it, and it worked again, and stayed working . The guitar really boosted my skill, because my Wii LP was bad. I didn't have any good accomplishments again until March, which I passsed TTFAF on GH3, and after that I started to play RB, and I progressively got better and better and better. Getting good at this game takes time, and to be honest you seem to have had progress better than most others, so you could probably become amazing if you keep playing _________________

I started playing when gh3 first came out, I can score over 750k on ttfaf and have 5 starred every song on the game, I do the same as you, I watch videos of people everyday getting crazy fcs and such, but I take that as a learning tool, like phenoms vids show his hand, watch his motions and patterns, not that you can't make your own but it can give you a start. I even sometimes get my gh guitar and play youtube vids of crazy fcs and try to playing along, Everyday it seems like I get better, just lots of practice and learn techniques and make your own if you want. |
