High five. :P
I haven't gotten the album yet. I think I'll get the leak tomorrow or something. This year is fucking crazy for me. My top three favorite bands in order are Between the Buried and Me, The Human Abstract, then Protest the Hero. There's a new album from each of those bands this year PLUS the vocalist of BTBAM (Tommy Rogers) has his solo album out. It couldn't be more perfect. _________________

The album is great. The lack of harsh vocals is kind of weird, but not a big deal. Definitely picking this up day and date.
Also, the singer from Prophagandhi is on the last track. Awesome. _________________

I'm sooo happy that Jadea Kelly makes a guest appearance like on Kezia! Her voice goes so well with Rody's. |

is it me thinking the vocal is very annoying ? its the only complain i have about this band. the musicians a real genius. its damn good. i thought there would have been more harsh vocal, but yeah, i think i need to get used to it. _________________

So I've listened to the album about three times so far... I think it's definitely going to grow on me. At this point I'm really feeling Moonlight. _________________

I still think it needed some more harsh vocals. Not because I prefer them overall, it's just I think the vocalist is one of my favorite screamers ever, and his singing while he has a great range, tends to do what Chiodos' old singer did and sorta yell your notes above your natural range, causing cracks in the voice, and off key notes. _________________

This is me right now. O_O
I am really enjoying it right now. I'm only on Tapestry, but my soul is smiling.

^ Who the fuck is that bitch?
Anyway, yeah. This album is everything I've ever dreamed of. Everything is more technical, yet sounds so much better. It seems like it flows much better than Fortress, too, and he uses screaming much more decisively. Fans everywhere should be pleased, this is much more like Kezia 2, sans the album being about Kezia. =P |

For me, it ranks above Fortress, but Kezia is still better. Needless to say, it's another great addition into their catalogue. _________________

It's impossible to say what my favorite song on this album is but it MIGHT be The Reign of Unending Terror. PtH lyrics are really interesting and it's the one band that doesn't bug me when they use the F word a lot. I can actually feel the emotion conveyed with it as opposed to "look we curse we're hxc"

Bump for the recently uncovered Japanese bonus track "To Porter, With Love":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0VbUogHhKU
Apparently this has been around since the Japanese version first came out, which was a couple of days before the North American version according to Rody.
Rumor has it there's three more tracks that haven't been discovered: "Every Single Day," "Exordium: Part I" and "Exordium: Part II"... |
