Yeah it's weird. I saw it on my time hop this morning and honestly, first thing I think of is "My gawd, I was a Sophmore in high school when this came out... It wasn't until junior and senior year of high school that I really got super into it.

10 long years... I was in the middle of primary school when GH was born. My first game was GH3 which I got when I was 12 - close to 7 years ago now. Wow... happy birthday, Guitar Hero!

Wow. I was 13 when this was released. I've been playing for approximately 8 years myself, and to think that at that point there were people who had 2 full years under their belt...mind blowing.

To this day, I've never played GH1, but cheers to the game that started at all. Plastic guitar has been a great hobby since the first time I gave it a shot.

Ten years??? That's nuts. I can't believe it's been that long. It's weird to think that half of that time was spent without a single new release in the series. Glad it's back I must say. :)
Also, I've been on SH for almost 8 years now. That's even crazier to me. I remember those days like it was yesterday. This is making me feel old, lol. (not to mention all y'all saying how you were in elementary school and such when GH1 was released...)

One my kids has now LEFT home.....that's old!
also, when GH1 came out I was a UK citizen living in Lancashire. I'm now an Australian citizen living in Adelaide!!!

i was 4 years old when gh1 came out, and i've played every gh except gh1 and gh80s (played gh2 for a weekend a couple of months ago with a crappy les paul) :O
