4/19 edit: Hey ya'll. I finished a full Redux of tier 7 and I ended up in 1st overall, which is really unexpected! First place untied on Carry me Home was a struggle. The other scores were not too bad to get, but the PB score is very old and I didn't see a point in the redux since the score was solid. Awesome! Not sure what I will do next.

Well guys this really sucks, but just as I was getting back into the scene and enjoying going for some GH2 scores, my GH2 save file that I have had since I was 13 years old in 2007 has just gone corrupt and I lost my 63/64 save file and all my scores.

I'm confident I'd be able to get 63/64 again if I really wanted to, but the real dagger here is that I feel like a part of my childhood just got stripped away from me. I don't really have any motivation to grind any other games or to start over on GH2 right now, so although it's been short-lived my return to guitar hero is now on pause as I'm not sure what I want to do now.

That sucks. For what it's worth, I started playing GH on the Wii, then switched to the Xbox 360 and at some point I think I had to buy a new 360 as well, so my best scores are not all in one place or are lost. In my experience, you learn to look at your ScoreHero page with that same fondness you had for the in-game score list.

I have to echo what Ontwikseltsaar said, at the end of the day your SH page is the best record you could ask for when it comes to your scores and FCs. I also had something similar happen where I lost my GH1 save, and almost all of my best scores are gone with it. I know it's different since you lost your gold stars setlist scroll, but still... while it sucks now you can get past it if you still enjoy playing the game.

That being said, I was really enjoying your GH2 squeezing process, so I for one would be disappointed if you stopped playing again. If anything this could be motivation to redux the entire game?

oh man this suck, same happened to my ps2 save files. both gh1 & gh2 got corrupted and even worst, my laser is not playing disc anymore, so im kinda screwed up. at least I went the opl route but I have to start over which is annoying but SH is where everything is stored.
