So, I was thinking which instruments and difficulties have been thoroughly squeezed out in the entire GH series. I am mostly looking for people that have a lot of 1st, not necessarily the top ranked players. Please correct me if I am wrong, or if there are other people that need to be listed:

Fine, take away my only Expert spot !  I don't care, I have Edrums on Band Hero at least, woohoo xD most of my scores are optimals.

GHVH E and MDrums for me. Largely since arvain and drama didn't squeeze much, I don't think.
And SH EDrums, too, I think.
Unless you solely mean X-plat firsts, in which case cross of SH EDrums.

So, as often happens, my question inspired another question. One that you would think would be easy to solve but is far from easy.
"Whom has the most 1st place scores by difficulty, and overall per instrument"
Well, I can continue to do what I manually started, which is find the users with a lot of 1sts, manually count each game by hand, and make running totals per game, and per difficulty. Then, make a summation table that shows the totals for each player based on game for that given instrument. I did that with Guitar, and started with names that were prolific on Easy, and a few other obvious ones. What I got was an odd mishmash of players with 1st places on guitar games (GH1-GHWoR including BH). Now, obviously, this table is far from complete, having started with big names on one difficulty, I would need to include others as well, so basically a quarter done. The table I am giving you a snapshot of is what I have so far, with the gold and white users being all 4 difficulties looked up, while the bottom three in orange are just their Expert totals.
Now, this presents an issue, namely of, what do I make the cutoff for such a board? I am leaning towards some round number, say 100 1sts out of the 725 songs x 4 difficulties, or 100+/2900 songs. I figure 100 is a good callout point, and these numbers at a glance give you an idea of how a lot of 1st places do not equate to high rankings on my boards, or vice versa. What level do you guys think is a good cutoff? Once I have my initial list, I will need your help in names that you know have a lot of 1sts that I need to include. Now obviously, some of these are tied 1sts, but a 1st is a 1st in my mind, regardless of tied or difficulty. In addition, if a song is broken, and has no 1st, that throws off my numbers. Finally, if you guys really like it, I might make a bass one as well. I chose through WoR + BH as that gives enough scores to have competitive 1sts, GHL just doesn't have a lot of scores. Yes, I know difficulties have very disparate scores entered, but that's why it will ultimately be 5 tables, one per difficulty and the grand total. I just put a screenshot of what the Grand Total currently looks like as a work in progress.
Please give me feedback, positive or negative. This is a manual process, so its very prone to errors, etc.

It'd be a nice thing to track, but certainly something I don't think you need to worry about every week. I'd say do it every month, or even once every 2-3 months.
I'd forgotten some of the un-tied 1sts I had on other platforms as well, especially GH5. (NO THAT'S NOT AN INVITATION TO TAKE THEM, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!)
I'm still consigning myself to very few 1sts regardless, so it wouldn't really matter to me in the end. Would still be something nice to look at, though.

If you where to include dlc 1st places ... I know a chap who might be interested 
I imagine it would be a way to encourage people to play more as well. Over on GH5 Hard bass, it's a bit of a white wash. I'm hitting 1st place just by default. Someone wanting a few 1st places might want to get involved if they knew dlc counted for something. Just my thoughts on it |

You know you're gonna be contested when I do HBass, right?
Although, I don't really think DLC has much worth being counted because not a lot of people have DLC in the first place. GH3 DLC may have a lot, but past that it's probably pretty sparse regardless.

Haha contest away, as I've said before ,I'm not too bothered by high score mainly because of the squeeze element to it all.
I'm kind of just putting it out there that some people do have dlc, maybe not a lot but shouldn't those songs be available , so that they may be contested ?
It's an argument that I get the feeling will always lose, which is why I added just my thoughts at the end of my post.
Kind of sucks that the guy ranked #1 isn't really #1 though. |

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 08/31/2016, enjoy. After a week of no action, there were changes this week to all but Medium Bass, cool. Over on Easy, it was sjay, with another 2,294,736 points, very nice stuff. For Hard, we had sjay again, this time with 679,790 points, decent showing. Finally, for Expert, we had 1,150 points from Jellu, and 13,859 points from VertigoMan. I will give the nod of the week to VertigoMan this time, its been a long time since we heard from him, welcome back. Good week for bass, lets see how many FCs sjay can get next week.
As for me, work, Diablo3, birthdays. We have quite a few birthdays all crammed together in a short span, my wife's, brother's, niece, one of my brothers, aunt, uncle, and 3 of my regular group of friends. Pretty crazy that all that happens, but hey, I guess someone had a nice Christmas gift eh? Work has been busy but nothing difficult, lots of little questions and such. For Diablo3, we are in week 4, and having done a GR 69 solo last night, I feel like I might finish out chapter 9 of 9 this week now. I just have to do a GR70, level 3 gems to 70 (which will happen by just playing GRs), and a third conquest, which will be to get 3 gems to 65. Season is 12 or 13 weeks long, so being nearly done already is rather surprising. Pool is doing great, although I think we just had our last 90 degree day, so time for the pool will soon be less. Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 09/08/2016, enjoy. There was action on every board this week except for Hard bass, all through the efforts of one player. For Easy, it was sjay, with 2,593,704 points, he is making steady progress still towards a FSFC on Easy. On Medium, it was sjay again, this time with a much more modest 24,514 points, slow and steady now that he cracked the top 10. Finally, for Expert, it was sjay as well, with 1,516,846 points. Congrats to sjay on a full sweep of the boards for this week, I am glad that someone is still making bass worth updating. Maybe DrSham or UltraHeroABC5 will get back in on the action next week.
As for me, nothing big, work, and Diablo3. Work is back to normal, with no major issues, just lots of little nagging things. Diablo3, I finished the season journey, completing Guardian (Chapter 9/9), and am done with 3 of the 4 set dungeons. This leaves me with leveling up legendary gems, trying to get a few more pieces for the last set dungeon, and hoping for ancients and LON rings to try that build out. I tried all the sets and honestly, they all pale in comparison to Sunwuko Lashing Tail Kick this season. The numbers are a bit out of whack, I am now regularly critting for 20 billion, which just seems absurd. Not much else to report, have a good week all.

Great week for sjay. Where's drsham?? D: Lol. I'm staying with guitar for a couple weeks still, gotta finish E/M Guitar, but when I'm finished those I will do some hard bass, I could get a good amount of FC's there.

I'm doing the automation of the 1st place leaderboards, it's not a quick job! I've also broken/dislocated the pinky on my fretting hand so can't really play at the moment, but I'll be back soon enough
