you don't have to be tremendously precise to hit war ensemble's strumming, if it's difficult to get the rhythm just abuse the timing window. really it just comes down to speed and consistency, but the actual strumming itself doesn't have to be very complex. |
But getting the speed right is practically hard enough. Dh's strumming is pretty simple in that regard, while WE's isn't.

48) For games with fewer entries, do it SH style, as the amount of time needed to resolve the list increases exponentially with the number of decisions. For games with more entries, do the basic "which of the easiest remaining songs are the easiest," but also do it from the other end simultaneously.
Edit: turns out that ElementOfZero already had this idea. Great minds.

Calling it for Disposable Heroes and obviously Fight Fire With Fire.
clearly everyone hates the SHits thread when compared to this method of ranking. that's gone for good for on-disc stuff.
as for the pincer attack.... obviously it would keep things rolling much faster BUT I really don't like the idea of the thread ending by picking the song in the middle. I'm going to run VH the same old boring way, but I may actually use pincer for the GH5 thread if there's more support for the idea because of the huge number of songs. WTDLC is too far along (though stalling at the moment) to reboot and start a new method or i'd actually give thought to doing it there too.

Going with DH. It has solo a (hardest part), solo b (just alt tap the trips and hit it a little early), and it's long. ANL is just so missable from start to finish and the solo is actually harder for me by itself than DH's solo.
