Stona's Hard accs. GH3H: FC #32 RYLAH!!!

My Most Recent Accomplishments

Well so I was on vacation up in the mountains all last week which i very much needed since I hadn't had a full vacation in like 3 years. Anyway, made it back home and back to some more GH3H and ended up with 3 new FCs and now have a full game 5* except for TTFAF which should come soon as I have improved a lot on the song. I also finished sightreading 80's on Hard and Aerosmith on Expert. I think my goal will be to get somewhere around 55-56 FCs on GH3 at which point I'm going to try and set some new goals for myself. I don't see it taking too long for me to reach 55 FCs though. I've never really tried that hard at GH3, so this should be quick.

ON TO THE FCS FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD.

FC #29: HKA - Easy, played it once and FCed immediately:

FC #30: Kool Thing - Worst song in GH history I firmly believe that. I cannot even come up with the words to describe how much I hate this song.... to make matters worse, I choked like 5 times before the FC. Ugh!!

FC #31: Ruby - Simple enough, had trouble with a couple of the transitions before I finally nailed the FC.

FC #32: RYLAH!! Wow, I really didn't expect this.... I was good enough at Solo 1 and the ending solo, but I had never managed to FC the middle solo. Well 1st try playing, I managed to get a -2, next run was a FC. I apparently missed a lot of points somehow?? Not sure how that was possible, but I am very pleased with this. I can definately tell that I have improved, because I couldn't have even fathomed this FC a year ago. Cheers to me!

Wow! Been a long time since I last updated. I got back to playing Guitar Hero over the past couple of weeks and was able to nail down some new FCs.

First up was Bulls on Parade: I had a lot of trouble on this song the last time that I tried it.... this time not so much...

Next was HMWYBS... a little work on the solo and it was cake.

RARAN - Again just needed a little solo work.

Miss Murder and The Seeker was just a matter of getting the strumming down... they really weren't bad at all.

Last up was Barracuda, a song I couldn't even fathom FCing a year ago. Hopefully there will be lots more to come soon.

Generation Rock, When You Were Young, Sabotage, and Metal Heavy Lady are also pretty easy. But honestly? Just give a few of the easiest songs a go and try for the ones you're closest to. I don't necessarily mean tier 1 songs - They can be tough to FC.

I plan on updating all of my scores on Monday. Because I don't have a computer at my houe (ftl I know) and play on PS2, I have to write down scores and post them at work. I am going to write everything down over the weekend (hard and expert) and post everything I have on Monday.

Congrats on the FC. Is that your first hard? I know that it took me a long time to get the first one, but the other ones have been coming at a pretty reasonable rate since then. Just keep practicing and you will have more FCs than you know what to do with before long. (At least I'm hoping it plays out this way... still a long way to go for me.)

HI Stona, yes its my first hard FC - i'm pretty close to :-

Slow Ride - hit every section in practice
Closer - chokes
Anarchy - overstrums

but i'm gonig to really try and get Impulse as its my favourite song and i'm getting better and better at holding combos.

Dazzle: Impulse is a good song and I enjoy playing ti on medium. To be honest I need to do a lot more with the bonus songs on hard. I have barely touched 1/4 of them, so I will hopefully get around to that this weekend also. Let me know how it goes with the FC progress.
