Fired up GHWT tonight and got 2 good FC's first try no chokes.

Purple Haze (well 100% overstrum on the Green Spamming bit)

Enjoyed this little session, kinda taking my mind off "other things"..see yah

August 2008 just an update - I've been diagnosed with Liposarcoma - its a cancer of the soft tissue, the tumour is located in my pelvis.

I need a major operation, its planned for the 15th of September so i will be off GH'ing for a while why i get bettter.

Enough of the bad talk here is the good stuff..

20/8/ I've now got a 360 so i've been playing through GH3, enjoying the DLC.

Got what i think is quite a hard 100% for some one at my level Top Gun

And an expert FC - slow ride.

16/6/9 just got GHM - still finding it hard to time HO/PO's because i've playing GH3 for a year and i'm too use to the loose front end.

Anyways - so far hit 9 Hard FC's most were pretty easy but very chokeable because of my habit of hitting the ho/po too early.

As i'm quite an old dude compared with the rest of you guys (i'm 37), my progress has been pretty slow.

I play only on the PC but i'm hoping to get a 360 soon so i can try out GH1, GH2, GH80's.

Its about time you posted one of these. Awesome job on everything you have done so far. Good luck on the future FCs. I am sure before too much longer you will be pumping them out on hard and expert to go along with all your mediums. Good luck on our rivalry to complete expert!

lol One of the best things to watch is my friends 50+ old dad having a blast playing this game.

Anyways, nice progress man. Especially if you started in June.

Btw, the xbox only plays GH2 and GH3. GH1 and 80s are only for the PS2 unfortunately which is why I have both systems

Nice job on the new FC... I know how much of a pain in the ass Slow Ride can be. And holy shit at CoD score. You have to be close to getting the FC there. Keep it up!

Thanks Stona..

Slow Ride was a grind i just had to get it out of the way to be honest i hated the song which means getting an FC even harder.

Checked in on your thread and you too had a good weekend's play - i was about 100k infront of you before you posted your updates so to be nearly a million more shows how much better your getting..

I too am in sight of 5* Hard - pretty much every song i play a few times i'm getting better and better..

For instance last nite i played La Grange and almost had a suprise FC i messed up at the beginning and then FC'd everything else.

For CoD the song just clicked into place.

Regarding Tiki
Im struggling with 3&7's as i can't strum the bastard right and my streak is shit as a result.
KoC i need star power for the triplets, when i nail those i should 5* easily as i'm good on the ending
RaBL only a matter of time

Finally got round to posting an update :

I've been enjoying bumping my scores up in the weekly Hard League and made me work hard in getting some new FCS'.

Pretty close to getting Anarchy just need to get more consistent in moving from orange, blue to yellow thinggy.

4 songs away from Tiki. KOC, RaBL and BiF and Lou i still can't pass him LOL

One last thing Merry Xmas to everyone at Scorehero...
