When i try to downstrum on my les paul it sometimes strums again so like it overstrums alot. is there anything i can do to fix it? Or should i get a new guitar?

welcome to scorehero! when you use the forums, please check the stickies for answers, or scroll down the already posted topics list.

regardless, your problem is probably a broken clicker in the strum switch. the modding 101 sticky has instructions on disassembly.

yes your rite he should of checked the stickies but a double strum isnt affected by the switches themselvs and it has more to do with the the strum bar itself and how lose it is. and is it droping holds or do you kno for sure its double struming ?
