Sometimes.. if the door I am trying to get through has a metal curved handle, I life the handle upwards and push.. then quickly pull the door close and then open again. It only happens once every so often. Hooray obsessive compulsive! _________________

I stick my pinky out a lot all the time. Eating, playing games, typing, it's a habit. I also crack my jaw a lot, play with my hair, procrastinate to the point where I never get anything done, tend to talk out loud to myself because I feel like I have to sometimes, and I tap GH patterns a lot with my fingers. Hell, I practice vibrating my fingers back and forth a lot in particular just to get better at trills. It probably looks weird to anyone watching...
...Jesus, I'm a freak. _________________

...Jesus, I'm a freak. | Do your stick your pinky out from watching it on Spongebob? I used to have that habit because I saw it on Spongebob and eventually forced myself to stop. |

Nah, I just do it just because. Although it does remind me of Spongebob after the fact. _________________

I stick my pinky out while drumming often. For no apparent reason, I'm not doing a roll and I'm not playing fast, but I will stick my pinky out and then bring it back in. _________________

I got a weird habit of always going to my fridge to get water after finishing a song on drums. There can be no water in the fridge, or even if it was right next to me, I STILL will get up. It's weird. If you took a time lapse video, it just be me getting up and sitting down. over. and over. _________________

When I'm walking on sidewalks I never step on the cracks between each tablet. I don't know what it is, I just get really bugged when I do. (no, I'm not afraid of breaking my moms back)
When I eat dinner, or anything for that matter, I eat everything seperately. Like if we have corn with mashed potatoes and steak, I have to eat all the corn, then all the potatoes, then all the steak. It REALLY bugs me when I eat different foods at the same time. _________________

I used to wake up at about 3:07AM every night, go to the toilet, get a drink and then go back to sleep and wake up 10 minutes before the alarm. Happens way less now though. _________________

Ever since I remember, while I'm trying to sleep, I can't unless I am rocking my leg from side to side. Or even sometimes my head!? LOL! Since I was old enough to remember I've alwasy done this, I'm now 22. It's really embarrassing that sometimes I'll do it in my sleep when I'm with company, and she's like WTF he's having a fit!" or something. I dunno. haha funny though.
Apart from the typical drumming my teeth, keeping things symmetrical, when I eat. I have to start from 1 side of the plate and work my way across. And I generally mix food together aswel. Mash with sweetcorn or mince, anything.
Same with curry, before I eat it. I will mix all the rice into it first. then start from 1 side of the plate and finish off like that. and I HATE HATE FUCKING! HATE to waste food, so i will keep eating no matter what, even if I'm sick.
EDIT: ^ hahaha at the guy's post above me. _________________

that is really awesome. I sometimes tap my teeth to songs as well, but rarely so specifically or regularly. Often times when I run or walk a lot, I breathe to the rythym of whatever song is stuck in my head. It really screws up my pace when I do something in an abnormal time signature. |
I used to do this back when I ran cross-country... it really helped kill the boredom on those long distance days... (also that star fox thing cracked me up)
um, I don't really have any weird habits that I can think of, except maybe that whenever I'm eating a plate of something, I never let the items mix- like I never want my corn to get in my mashed potatoes, that kind of thing. generally I'll eat only one type of thing, then move on to the next when I finish it. |
That's me too! During math at school, I'll play random beats with my fingers. I also pace ALOT! If I stand up, within 15 seconds, I'll be pacing.
One time in school during the last 5 mins., after people who walk home left and the people who rode home had to stay for five minutes, I got up and began pacing for no reason. No one got on to me ! _________________

I do that same thing with calculating whether words are on the left or right side of the keyboard more, and the drumming on random things. _________________
